FSW 2013 SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE - LET'S CONNECT HERE

Hello people,

I noticed most people here are 2013 applicants. I'm a 2014 applicant, received PER on June 24, 2014.

I'm a little concerned over the slow pace at which Singapore VO is processing FSWP applications. It is really alarming that none of the 2013 applicants have received a medical request as of yet. I checked in the CIC website and discovered that the processing time for Singapore Visa Office is 28 months. That means almost 2.5 years. Is this right? This means that 2013 applicants can hope to receive their PRs at the end of 2015, and 2014 applicants like me even later, like at the end of 2016! That's a really long time, considering the progress of other VOs.

Is there any way of communicating with Singapore VO about the status of our applications? I'm interested to know your thoughts on this issue.

Seniors please think of something.. Individual's emails might not help.. We must act now, waiting for 2-2.5 yrs for PR, while others get it in less than a year!!! This is ridiculous..

What if we complain to CIO/CIC or the Minister? Not one or two individuals but all of us? Let them know that SGVO is neglecting us as a Nation (Bangladeshi). So that they put some pressure on SGVO to move our files faster..

We already started it on Jan 2014 and sent email to both SG and CIC minister for this discrimination...Please check the below posts:

I think emailing will not harm our application process coz we r not gonna providing our UCI/application file number to the email. We can just inform that all other VOs- CPP,Paris,Bucharest, NDVO, Honkong, Beijing even neighboring NDVOand many more is providing the MR and PPRF request to their applicants...so we r expecting to fulfill the minister's commitment about FSW13 within one year process completion...nothing anymore. It is a very discrimination being our vo is SGVO and we lag behind for more than years just becoz of this VO.


We can also tweet minister https://twitter.com/MinChrisA for SGVO as much. require also to make #FSWP2013 Hashtag during ur comment. The more we will comment/email, the more are the chances that it can reach to the concern's focus.


So ppl please start to email them from now on...at least they can be informed that, we are aware about the status of other VOs. May be this will make no difference...but making an effort will not loose ur anything...on other side may be it gonna hit ..who knows!!

Singapore has not yet started processing any of the FSWP-2013 while other busy visa office such as New Delhi, Colombo, Beijing, Hong Kong,CPP-Ottowa, Paris VO started to issue MRs/Stamping VISA already. We have an online forum in which a large number of the FSW13 applicants share their updates with each other. We are getting frustrated under this situation. Our future carrier planning is depending on the processing time of this application on SGVO.

We will highly appreciate your kind focus to start processing 2013 FSWP with minister's statement of processing 2013 FSWP in less than one year. Just to remind the news released on December 19, 2012 release:

Current processing times for Federal Skilled Worker applications at all visa offices can be found on the Citizenship & Immigration Canada Website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp.

The Singapore visa office has been allocated a large Federal Skilled Worker target in 2014 which will help us to put hundreds more cases into process. Each applicant will be contacted regarding the next steps as soon as their application has been reviewed by an officer.

We have taken note of your concerns. Thank you for sharing them with our office. We hope this information will be of assistance.

The Singapore visa office is currently putting into process applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category which were received in 2013. As soon as an officer has completed the eligibility review of each application, the applicant will be contacted directly with instructions to complete the next steps in the process. Guys!!! I respect some of ur decision about going mental and write to ministers and canadian ambassador about the slow process of sgvo. But in my opinion i dont think it will help coz the immigration minister, i guess, is well informed about it. What i think is every case officer has a target and is also answerable to their supervisors for the delay in processing applications. Immigration minister is well informed about the number of PRs processed from the visa offices around the world. So definitely they know about the poor number of sgvo in processing applications.

But what are the steps to be taken to arrange a meeting with her....This is the major concern....

I will be there inshallah if its arranged....

I went on VFS Canada office at Gulshan Dhaka BD on their new office on last week. Reason was -my sister-in-law rcvd PP request (within 7 months) as spouse PR application.

One of them recognized my face and was asking me- hi hellow....(since i have gone there several times due to family reason).

I asked him about the frequency of the PP submission they r receiving from PR applicants...

He said that PP submission on their office is not that much ....frequency is reasonably less....

So even if we think that there are lots applicants whom are not on the forum are getting MR/PPR ---may not be true........

It'll be an absolute Sin to chose SG Visa Office, you should definitely select NDVO.
SGVO is just that,.... 'Empty Promise' ...

Since u are on SG, u have two option. Ofcourse choose New Delhi as ur Visa office since this VO is thousand times faster than Singapore.....


Dont do blunder choosing SG.

First of all, being an Indian u can always choose NDVO irrespective of ur country of residence....

Now:

1. Yes u can select SG. no issue
2. U can show both SGD or INR....try to give CAD equivalency if possible...
3. No need to show work permit copy.

If visa is granted, how will be my passport is stamped if I choose New Delhi as VO?
Since I'm staying in Singapore it won't be a problem. Please clarify !
