so far I've seen it ranges and takes 3days(shortest) to 45days (longest) from in-process to medical request. some it goes hand in hand when they request for medical + PPR + RPRF and some only medical + RPRF then PPR will follow after a couple of days/weeks/months.........

lets wait for the processing time update as its due for the 1st Q of 2014........ hopefully they will speed up the process!!!!

funny things is when SGVO replied to our email they indicated that they process according to the date in which the application been received by their office which I don't think its true since I know 2 of whom who submitted after us and just last year they all in Canada!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr >:( >:( >:( >:( and saying that it will depend on the quota plus the new application received in their office....... nothing else we can do but wait for them.

good luck to all of us....... may God grant the desires of our hearts and enlighten SGVO officers processing our file to approve all our applications.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

Your application is currently in a queue awaiting final review.

Files in the Federal Skilled Worker category are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which the complete application and fee payment were received in our office. Once the file has been reviewed, we will contact the applicant directly to advise the result of the final review and/or any next steps in the processing of the application. If your address or contact information changes during processing, you must inform this office in writing.

Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received, annual quota and the individual complexity of each application.

Please note that processing times are calculated from the date the application is received by the Singapore visa office.

Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status.

We hope this information will be of assistance.

Hi All,
I have received my PER on 1 August 2013.Would like to have some information. We are blessed with a baby boy on Sep 2013. As per the process already made a case specific enquiry and uploaded birth Certificate, PASSPORT and photo of new born baby. They just replied through an automated generic message that they will ask for further information if needed. Still to get any response from SGVO. Should I sent hard copy along with the following forms:

1. Generic Application form (IMM 0008) with updated dependent information
2.Additional family information form (IMM 5406)
3. Updated Check list (IMM 5612E)
4. Bank draft of $150 with Fee payment form (IMM 5620) - should I just mention the $150 payment info or update the form with additional payment of $150

5. Supplementary information Your Travels (IMM 5562)-as baby traveled to Bangkok

6. Six photographs of new born

So still not a good news for SGVO fsw13 applicants...

this happened in first week of January 2014.....

I received a call in my mobile. A gentleman from Middle East asked for some information about the department of my Bank where I am working now. I met some of his queries and asked him where he got my number, he said from our Bank's website. He said he will mail to the email address provided in the website. That means he went through our website where my mobile number and official email address is given. Then I asked can I call him to his number ? He felt a little bit uneasy and asked me is the number is showing in my mobile. I said yes. Then he told me it was a internet calling system, its better to wait for his mail where I should reply. Then he never mailed.

His reaction about the phone number created doubt in my mind and I searched the phone number in the net (+6566199120) and found that it was a fixed line number of Singapore, but he told me he was calling from Middle East.

what you get from it ?

I think if visa office wants to verify the applicants, they will not call the applicant directly. They may verify the applicants with the help of their third party. It's my guess.
