FSW 2013 SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE - LET'S CONNECT HERE

Hi all,
I am a FSW 2013 applicant & I have received my AOR from SGVO on 1st oct 2013. Since then I am waiting like all the other member of this thread However I am seeking suggestions for my below query:

Meanwhile I have applied to a canadian university for a MSc course at Fall 2014 (starting sep 14). In Sha ALLAH i will receive a scholarship too for this program. Now if I get a final offer letter what should i do?

1. Apply for a student vissa/ student permit ? (if so then will it create any problem to my PR application?)

2. Inform SGVO to get an answer what should I do?

3. Any alternative way?

Anyway late congrats on ur receiveing AOR from SGVO...

Here u go:

1. U can apply for Student VISA without any hestitation...UR PR app will not hamper in either way...So no need to worry for that.
When u r going to complete ur studdent visa form, inform that u applied for PR (u will get an option during filling up of the forms).

2. I dont thing it is necessary to inform SGVO for the student visa application.

3. U can inform to SGVO once u r in CA by student visa to change ur current address....

This is what my suggestion...

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I was thinking that should I inform SGVO prior another application (Student visa) ? Or it could arise any conflict issue for the Student visa application after PR application?

One more thing brother, Recently I have changed my address which I used during PR application. should i inform this through CSE or through their email address?

U can do it by either way....U may go for CSE and also ask the current status of ur file....

i got a reply from SGVO today as below:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

Your application is currently in a queue awaiting final review.

Files in the Federal Skilled Worker category are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which the complete application and fee payment were received in our office. Once the file has been reviewed, we will contact the applicant directly to advise the result of the final review and/or any next steps in the processing of the application. If your address or contact information changes during processing, you must inform this office in writing.

Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received, annual quota and the individual complexity of each application.

For the processing times of permanent resident applications in Singapore, please refer to the CIC website at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp

Please note that processing times are calculated from the date the application is received by the Singapore visa office.

Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status.

I applied in October 2011 and received Acknowledge e- mail from CIC Canada in January 2012. No letter from SVO. That's all.

Thank you for your response. Looks like they are giving the same reply without checking what we want to know from them !!! So do you take any further steps to inform them or You have already applied for student visa?

Normally you are supposed to get PER within 3/4 months after sending ... If you miss any required document, they'll return your application package with an explanation. As 4 months have already passed, I'll advice you to send CIO an email inquiry, they'll reply your app status within 3 weeks.

Also, it would help if you can post here your NOC and date on which application was received by CIO.

I got PER after 3 weeks via email (reached CIO 7th, PER 29th April). What is your NOC? It has been long time with your case.
