Right..They already covered initial review of all FSW13 applicants...PPL who are getting CSE reply are getting same one now...SGVO is also clearing MI-3 backlog's initial review(should be covered by now) ...

So obviously they should send MR to all of us right now....no more obligation should remain to send MR....

Lets hope for the best ...and Sunlight vaia u r right --this will be a torture...if they gonna send MR after end of May....

FSW2014 opens, so I am not sure if they need to solve all FSW2013 before 2015 or not. In such case, maybe our processing time will be around 28 months as they indicated in their replies for our CSEs?

What's the point of opening up so many slots, when they can't even finish up the existing ones, the best would've been to clear the full backlog within this year, and start off 2015 in a clean-slate. Don't understand their mindset really.

What the hell going on by CIC. What will be the backlogs ? Why did they reduce MI-3 & MI-3+ and MI-2 caps ? Cant think more. Our hope going to be end like MH370. Really bad. Very bad. Why will they receive huge amount of applications without clearing backlog. In justice.......

Well I can only hope that SGVO start to receive all these applications from CIO on September 2014 onwards, and before that they'll clear our MRs; because even though new program year has opened up, they've nothing much to do before they complete receiving all those new applications, and this should take some good amount of time, why not use the time to reduce backlog as far as possible !!!! This should be the optimum scenario now.

If so & intention of SGVO is good or in favour of us then each day we either MI-2/3 or MI-3+ should receive MR. Yet we dont see any symptom.

May be that, they dont care, feeling thrown into utter darkness, having no clue whatsoever what's gonna happen... thinking how can I just forget this Canadian Visa Episode, ...!

“With these measures in place for our key economic programs, our government is ensuring our immigration system is addressing Canada’s economic and labour market needs while reducing backlogs and improving processing times. We look forward to the launch of Express Entry next January, which will be a major step forward in attracting the skilled workers we need and have them working in Canada faster.”

Chris Alexander, Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister

Please give concern on us (SGVO applicants) first.... I think FSW 2014 NDVO applicants will go before us....

''With the FSWP backlog on track for elimination this year, a new cap of 25,000 applications will provide the appropriate number of applications to support expected admissions in 2015. The list of eligible occupations – reflecting the latest labour market needs – will be more than doubled, from 24 to 50 occupations.''

If it is true, I think SGVO have to speed up, or give up our files....................... :-X :-X

The only positive thing right now I can think of is the fact that if SGVO can not clear the backlogs to a significant extent before 2015, specially those of 2011 and 2013, at the start of the next year, it'll be a huge mess of 4 different years of applications to deal with... So I'm hoping they understand the issue and consequently move their a** this time.

U are right vaia...I am hoping that ur thought will consider SGVO this time...Otherwise from Aug 14, Backlogs will be huge since new files will start to in on that time to SGVO....

And this time its 25000 :o so more chances large SGVO applicant on 2014 intake.

Very Bad joke... >:(

Dont want to see this scenario..... :( ???

I had the impression that this was FSW2013 was the last regular immigration not EOI....and had this tight cap of 300 for each occupation and had to go through tremendous stress to be in this 300:)....anyway...

My analysis is this:

- Their EOI system is not ready
- They need more money from immigrants
- They are not sure when EOI system like Australia will be implemented so they are throwing another 25K without taking care of pending files

and I guess NDVO (nothing against them) 2014 applicants (new stream) will reach canada before FSW 2013 BD applicants.... (telling out of frustration)...really...

But I want to be optimistic and hope Mi2 Mi 3 and FSW 13 will receive MRs asap and hope the new system will not be a big hindrance in processing time of our applications.
