I've tried searching on the forum regarding this but I could not find it easily. I have 3 years of contract work experience providing services to a company in Canada and invoiced the hours worked and get paid every 2 weeks. The work I did falls under one of the listed eligible occupations. I believe this is considered as self-employed as I don't receive any T4 and pay taxes every year. So, I wonder whether under the FSW May 4 2013 rules, this self-employed work experience is eligible? Anyone knows? Thanks.

Hello buffbutters!

Self employed work experience is eligible for FSW. For it to be counted you need to provide reference letters from your clients (3rd party individuals) mentioning the nature of services provided, duration of services and payment details.

Hope it helps
