A bit of news from a member in the main forum. Looks like something may start to happen (or be postponed) within January for many:

Okay so here goes, and I better get a lot of +1 for this:

Application was received on 23 May 2013.

Application was created (PER issued) on 7 August 2013.

1. GCMS Notes indicate that my file has been assigned to an officer at the London Visa Office (LVO).

2. The date date for the assignment to the officer is 31 January 2014. This is when I think the file processing is due to begin.

3. There are three subsequent background checks. (i) Security, (ii) Criminality and (iii) Medical.

4. The due date for completion of all three checks is 7 August 2014. That is exactly ONE YEAR from the date the PER was issued.

So let's keep that in mind. One year from the PER was issued, the LVO must complete all background checks and then move on to issuing visas.

Good luck.

The comparison we can make is with jigzyy:

So, there are 35 pages... and the final result is.. LVO haven't touched it :'(. Which means, 2013 is not their priority (at least 10 days before when GCMS notes were generated).

Here are other findings:
Ministerial Instructions: Met

Assessments:
Eligibility: Not Started - Looks like Local Visa Office haven't re-calculated points.
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Not Started

Last Due Date: 2013/09/28

Points:
Scored 67 >:(. Did not considered Adaptability points for Relative in Canada ( provided documented proof ) + haven't considered Academic IELTS of Spouse. Two Visa Officers assessed the application and both calculated 67 points.

Due Date: 2014/07/09 (My PER date in 2013)

Experience still need to be verified, that section is empty.
Selection, Security, Criminality, Background & Medicals are Pending.

Since arrival (2013/07/22) at LVO, file has been transferred 3 times from one location to another :-\

Anyway, all in all, nothing useful came out of it.

EDIT: I was not able to find Bring Forward Date, so I am considering Due Date is that date for now. Because if it's true, that means, I / We are not going to hear anything for 1 year from LVO. :-X

It shouldn't affect much, it is mainly a diplomatic building and the move isn't happening until the new year. It is the address for Visa matters that aren't at the VAC, but they can't do much standard visa paperwork there - it's a palace - take a look at the pictures: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2515660/Very-High-Commission-Canada-cashes-Britains-property-boom-selling-London-embassy-306m--SIX-times-asking-price-1999.html

Hi barcomi

No, we haven't been asked for any further docs. I will be sending in updated PCC's because they have taken so long and they have now expired.

Hope you have some good news soon! When did your PCC expired?

Wow, I go away from the computer for a few hours and LVO starts doing something. So we have two people with emails from LVO.
To my eye the thing that connects both is that they are 1112 (the dates are different), although it could just be chance (or Abu Dhabi catchment)
All the best for the interviews
