Hello Everyone
I have a question I'd appreciate it if you answer it.
I got my Passport request for my Open Work Permit yesterday, and I am not living in England right know, so now just wondering how long does it take Canada embassy return passport? and if I send my passport to someone else to drop it off and pick it up, is it possible and it is not faster than sending by post?

My solicitor replied me the following regarding waiting time. It may or may not be true. Just for your information.
"The Visa Office can take approximately 4-6 months to process supporting documents. Providing they are satisfied with your documents they will proceed to the next stage of the process. This may be a selection interview or more likely they will waive the interview and proceed with a request that you and your dependants undergo your medical examinations. Although the Visa Office reserves the right to call any applicant for interview, in practice the chance is very low (about 5%)."

Has anyone requested their GCMS notes recently? We know things were quiet at the beginning of October based on jigzzy's notes that he received 29 Oct (based on a 9 Jul PER).
My PER was 8 Aug and I'm currently planning to apply for GCMS notes in about 3 weeks time. What are others doing?
