Hi Team,

Like all m also an aspirant to migrate Canada for good...
I also did the filing in the month of may, already got PER couple of days ago !

Does anyone have an idea about Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) ?

When exactly one can apply there to join the newcomers orientation program in India ?

I heard it helps a lot settling down as a new immigrant in Canada..!!!

Would highly appreciate if someone has some related re-search done on it and would not mind sharing it...

Cheers,

:) :) :)

Hi All,

I have a query on the status of complete applications on CIC's website i.e. /english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

It shows the number of applications received under FSW category. My question is how do they count this number?

As I have applied in this catagory and my application was received by CIC on 11th July 2013. Do they count application as received after they receive the payment or notify the applicant by email or mail? As they have not deducted the fees amount from my credit card. and It has been 20 days of receiving my application. so can you please help me how do they put application in received status. According to me possible answers may be
(1) after verifying all the documents completeness.
(2) After payment clearance
(3) After notifying applicant about the receipt of the application by mail or email.

Please help me.

Thanks a lot..

Dear Sir,

I graduated as Petroleum Engineeer. Presently working in a Natural gas transmission company as a Pipeline Engineer. My job profile is more of a MEchanical Engineer , into designing and projects execution of Construction activities as managing activities and overview.

But in my profile it is mentioned Qualification: B.Tech (Petroleum Engineering)

I want to apply with NOC 2145 as petroleum engineer.

Please guide me under which category should i Apply !?!

I satisfy all other conditions to be eligible for application (IELTS , ECA,etc..)

Hi Amit,

If you are a petroleum engineer by education and mechanical engineer by profession then you should go with mechanical engineering category if available. because the name of the category is "Federal Skilled Workers" and that stands that they require skill not the degree. and As far as you are concerned about your degree, then in ECS report they will assess all the subjects you have learned, so don't worry about that. you can be eligible under petroleum engineer category only if you can manage to show your experience in the respective job duties.
