i ve sent my application on 12th July 2013.. it reached 17th july..

When could i expect a mail from them?

and what would be my file status at present...? will i get an inquirey call before i ger PER?

Hi Krutik,

Inquiry is only done when your file is received at the local visa office..

For fees you can check CIC website...

krutik, congrats for ur DD getting encashed. Next step would be PER mail from CIC containing ur file number and UCI.

I need some help in getting PCC from India (Delhi)...

The deal is, the address on my passport and my identity card (aadhar) does not match. On my passport i have my home town address and aadhar has Delhi address. I know i can show both i get PCC for myself, but what steps should i follow/documents are required to get PCC for my wife.

Will her passport and our marriage cert. suffice? My marriage certificate has both the addresses, mine and my wife's home town addresses and our current Delhi's address.

anyhelp help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

For PCC you need to get the PCC from all the places where you stayed in last 5 years.

PCC can be obtained from local police commissioner office or passport office.


So you can plan accordingly
