Hello Seniors,

Really need your advice on the below.

I am FSW2013 Applicant, so far by the grace of GOD have received PER (Positive Eligibility Review).

Now my worry is for my past employer (Infosys) refused to give me detailed job duties on experience letter, which is quite common with Indian IT companies like mine.

Please help....

Is current job matched your duties with your NOC..????

Yes, the current job duties matched exactly with the NOC description. Current employer has given the job duties as well.

Then do not worry because visa office rarely contact with last employer ....you are safe ....

Thanks...

Hopefully, just out of curiosity, have you ever seen this type of scenario where previous employer's reference letter is on ex colleagues afidavits and it's get accepted with no issues with London VO.

I have many time seen this often in Indian this happened or with Government employees around the world .....you were ok therefore you are issued with PER........simple because over your affidavit they calculated your points and made you eligible ......

But the point is that out of 2 affdivatis submitted, one of the affidavit (co worker) mobile number changed mentioned in his business card, but e-mail address is still valid.

Shall I update London Vo about this or it is useless ? if they cannot contact that person another is still there or they can even contact me saying the 1st person's contact number is not working.

One thing more if they do not calculate your past experience then what is your rest of points??????? and they always call at work place very rare to contact with affidavit signed personnel ......and i hope at your work place one thing they must verify that yes this person was here in this capacity ......??

My current job is not yet 1 year, this October going to be 1 year. Last employer 2.5 years.

If they call no problem, I am ex- employee everything lis egal no problems at all, I have no issue whether they call my current or previous employer, they will be able to get all the piece of information stating my salary, worked on this position etc....... but doubtful about job duties if the Hr from previous employer will reveal to CIC or not.

My both the jobs are genuine but the only heck was to get the job duties from previous employer( Infosys)

Self calculated points - 78, if not including last employer then reduce 2 points, but necessary to include the last job as present job not yet completed 1 year.

I did exactly the same since my company does not provide job roles and I am a programmer based on Manila... It's nice to hear that someone got PER with the same method I used although I am still waiting. Is there any email address in the calling card? Althought I think you are 85% ok after passing the PER.

I think what is important to them is that they can validate that your 2 references are really working in the company and it's easy for them to validate even they do not have valid phone in the calling card... It is a usual scenario I guess and they expect that.

I have quite similar worry because my reference (supervisor) is in a US assignment and her phone number is a Manila one... Although I know I should not worry because her email address is also indicated in the calling card.

Yes the e-mail address is there for both of the references, one of the references mobile number mentioned is changed only. Other wise e-mail address is valid, and they both are presently working in that company.

I am talking about the company called 'Infosys' it's a very big reputed MNC company no doubt about that.

But the problem with big IT companies in India is that they have fixed format of experience letter and they don't go beyond that.

When is your application sent, hopefully you will also get PER e-mail soon.

Hi!Is there a problem if one of the companies that i have worked for does not have a website in case they want to verify?

No should not be, they have different ways to verify that, like by calling, e-mail, or sometimes physical visit.
