Thanks Awai,

Just wondering obviously reception will transfer the call to HR for sure, but I am afraid if the HR can verify the job details as they are not technical persons.

Of course HR can verify that this person worked with that company or not holds that position salary etc.... but not the job duties, don't know what is the steps to verify the job duties.

Yes the e-mail address is there for both of the references, one of the references mobile number mentioned is changed only. Other wise e-mail address is valid, and they both are presently working in that company.

I am talking about the company called 'Infosys' it's a very big reputed MNC company no doubt about that.

But the problem with big IT companies in India is that they have fixed format of experience letter and they don't go beyond that.

When is your application sent, hopefully you will also get PER e-mail soon.

I worked previously in a bigger company and do not provide job role.. Accenture is very particular with this policy. My application was received June 19, so a long way to wait....

Dear All,

I am facing a situation where my previous employer no longer exists. I don't have a reference letter, but I do have the end of service letter and payslips.

1. Is it possible to get an explanation signed from the HR or the owner?
2. For obvious reasons, the explanation letter won't be printed on the company letter head, will it be acceptable?
3. Is there any other alternative?

Your quick response would help me proceed with the application.

Thanking you in advance.

Cheers!
