Emphatic yes, as long as they land before the expiration date of their visa. As an example for clarity, if your visa is valid till say Nov 2015, you the PA can land in say April while your dependants land later say Oct.

Hello Guys,

Got my passport back after stamping.
Thank you all for your continuous support during this time.

Planning to make the landing the 2nd or 3rd week of march.

Are there any links for
1) how to prepare the goods carrying and goods to follow list
2) how to search a shared accommodation

Can you please add me to the FB group or pm me the details on how to get added to the group..?

I've just got my GCMS notes and it is a little bit disapointing as my file was on Put Away status. I have the elegability completed and medical completed and all fees paid but security status and notes are deleted while criminality is not started. It seem they visit the file from time to time but on august after the last communication, I think it was decided that we should go through the security screening. I believe this could take more than a year to go through their security screening agencies. Any experience in this matter??

Dear,,,
1. Yes, Principal applicant has to land first of all and dependents may follow later but within expiry dates.
2. Once the baby is born, need to have visas etc which takes some time. In case you plan to land earlier, you should send the information to CHC.

In acse birth shall be after the expiry of visa date, its somehow tricky so need to hooked up with CIC / CHC on priority.

Dear amirsrima

Thanks for reply

The birth is definitely before the expiry of visa (visa expires in july, 2015 and birth is somewhat around 5th Apirl).

That mean I (as principal investigator) can go before my dependents (in my case my misus and one child)

they can come later within the expiry date and my misus can give birth to child as well and the CIC will adjust their visas and other formalities ?

thankx

I would suggest not to take any chances and opt for one of the following.

You with your family members land in Canada as soon as possible and let your wife deliver in Canada. Your child will be a Canadian citizen straightaway in this case. You may land in Alberta so that you can avail the public health insurance from day 1.

OR

Let your wife deliver in your present home country. Then you will have to inform your visa office about the birth of the newborn. Further you will be directed to do the medical of the newborn and submit few docs of the newborn including his/her passport and fees. Also you will have to return all the family member's passport to your visa office and a fresh visa will be issued to you all. Then you can all land together along with the newborn.

@ irfangeo : Also, if you land first your PR will be activated, but when the child is born, your wife's visa will no longer be valid, as your family composition has changed. Then you have to apply for sponsorship of your wife and new born child.

FSW 1 or 2, which one is direct hire?
Application filled: june 2012
NOC: 5254
SINP approval: 13-01-2015
MYCIC Submission: 09-02-2015
Medical Req: 17-02-2015
Medical done: 20-02-2015
Medical Approved: 27-02-2015
PPR: waiting nalang
VISA: after PPR siguro?

I had a Long time line because I accomplished my application by pen and paper, which got a little delayed because of it. so i suggest use online application for faster processing of your application. I am a direct hire from a SK employer. hopefully within this month, March i'll get a PPR request and a shorter VISA application time line.
