Please help me urgently with answer to below queries.
Please let me know why there has been no progress on my application processing.
I would be eager to hear from applicants from the previous year 2013 who had to go through a similar slow processing of their applications and how and when they heard from CIC and what was the reasons for slowness and any actions taken by the applicants to expedite processing.
I applied for Canada FSW for NOC 2171 on 3rd July 2014. Visa office is New Delhi VO.
Received PER on 28th Oct 2014 but there is no 2nd line update and no medicals and PCC requests following that.
Many who applied after I did have received ever passport requests.
My calculated points are 74 well above what is required - 67.
IELTS above 7 in all categories and I have a masters (BE from India, MBA from UK).
Am an Indian, have worked in 2 EU countries (NL and Swiss) and studied in the UK.
I claimed points for my work with 2 employers.
For the first, I sent 2 years 10 months experience with correct roles and responsibilities on company letter head as required by CIC. The first employer was kind enough to give me the required letter.
The 2nd employer refused to give a letter on letter head and was ok with me sharing the e-mail which clearly stated that it is against company policy. The HR was ok with me sharing their business cards. for this experience, I received an e-mail from a senior colleague who signed and vouched for my experience of 5 years and also on roles and responsibilities. I shared this hard copy as part of my application along with my colleague's business card.
So far no contact has been made with the HR and my colleague for reference checks.
I have raised GCMS and will receive it in 2 weeks.
