Btw.... it would be tough call for 2173 in december app. In just 1 month processing (May itself) they have accepted 343 apps, and 1000 is the cap. In current scenario it is top 3rd hot NOC.

Hi guys...i have one last question about proof of funds when being landed........we have decided to carry bank drafts when being landed......does all the funds have to be in the main applicants name ....or can can some of the funds be in your spouse name (dependant).

Yes, it can also be in dependents name... DD, travel cheque, cash all okay.

Should I be worried ? Did some has any experience with this kind of case ?

It can be in the name of any one or both i.e. spouse and applicant..

Today I received an e-mail from Vienna Visa Office with request to pay RPRF and to send passports.

I will send the passports by DHL and I would like to arrange the Visa office to send my passports back by DHL. I know I read somewhere that you can ask the visa office to send the passports back using DHL instead of snail mail since it is faster.
Does anybody know how I should do this. Send them case specific enquiry, explaining them that I will arrange with DHL to pick the passports from the visa office and pay the costs ???

Hi All,

i am a 2014 applicant and recently received MR from NDVO. Can someone please help me with the below queries ASAP?

1. I was in USA last year for overall 10 months but did not stay there continuously for 10 months. I was in US from Mar-July and then in Canada for two weeks in August and then back to USA from Mid Aug to Dec end. So since the stay was not continuous will i need US PCC?

2. In how many days NDVO replies on a CSE raised? They say they will reply within 28 days...anyone experienced a timely reply from them?

3. I will be travelling to Seattle in next few weeks. Hopefully if things go well and i get visa stamped sometime later, can i land in Vancouver just to get PR formalities done and later on move to Toronto? Does the landing place matter?

Please shed some light on this. Thanks a bunch!

By God's grace we have received passports with Visa and COPR today.

We have not received any other document like IELTS original, Vaccination form, etc. Is it normal?

Hi All,

I need some innformation, Can anybody please help:

We received passport request yesterday from NDVO visa office. We are in USA currently and planning to send our passports to india through a relative , My questions are:

- Can my Father submit the passports to VFS office in Delhi, if yes what documents should I send him so that he can submit paspports.
- How much days VFS takes to send passport to Visa office?
- Do you know any estimate when passports will be returned.


Please help answer above questions.
