Hi folks,

Just got my MR :o, can't express how happy I am :D Glad to be making progress in my application. Thank you to you guys, the forum has helped me a ton. Wish you all the best with your application.

I reside in New Delhi, was wondering if any of you have gone through medicals here and have any recommendations/suggestions?

Is paying the RPRF fee online better or should I get a bank draft? I have heard paying RPRF online makes processing faster, any truth to this?

How did you guys send the passport copies, PCC, bank draft etc.to NDVO? Bluedart?

Congrats, Nice way to start the week. My guess for MR rain from NDVO has started I suppose! It is true that online payment is faster than the DD, (you can skim through the old posts)
Lets hope for the best..
Since you are in NEWDELHI, local courier is not so risky and you can have it delivered the same day by Bluedart, DTDC, Professional etc.....Al the best for your MR, PP request and visa

Thank you sooooooooooo much

Hey guys just wanted to know whether CIC counts no. of days, weeks or months for counting work experience.

My work exp is :

Employer B Part time: 03/11/2009 - 15/09/2011: 11 months and 6 days
Employer C FULL TIME: 26/08/2012 - 10/06/2014: 21 Months and 15 days

total will be : 47 months OR 48 months and 10 days ???

I desperately need 13 points for 4 years work exp.

Thank you in advance

Thanks ramgarhia, Bhaumick and jpdentdoc .. +1s. Wish you guys all the best

Is it my impression, or the VO around the world are giving priority to the FSWP 2014 and leaving all of us waiting? It's been almost three months since I sent the payment for the RPRF to Mexico and since then no MR or PPR yet, I asked them twice already and their answer was " we don't need those yet and keep you correspondence to a minimun" this is so frustrating, I see applicants from May of 2014 who already have or MR and PPR or DM :(:(:(

Dear Forumites,

I have some very important queries, thus need an urgent and immediate response from you people. [/b]

We (myself, spouse and daughter) have got a visa (valid March 11th, 2015) and I am landing in Toronto on Aug 31st, 2014, but currently my wife is pregnant (5th month going to complete) and she would deliver the baby within Jan 15th, 2015. Basically, She has spinal cord problem, so I am planning her delivery in India itself.

My queries are:

1. Is that possible to get a visa for infant with in a month?
2. If not, could I get visitor visa for infant within a month?

Kindly revert at the earliest

Thanks & regards,

Babu B.

Hi Babub, Congratulations for upcoming baby!!
My baby was delivered in Toronto. My wife was 23week pregnant when we land in Feb 2014 and I have gone through series of experience.
If your wife is OK to fly with respect to her spinal problem and baby's internal position, I would advice you to get her here and let the baby be born Canadian. If she can't fly, you can send a query to CIC and get information on how to add your baby. You probably have to send your passports back to NDVO to get your newborn's visa and your visas revised. I am not sure about that process because I preferred the other option in my case. If you tend to follow first option, I will advice you to contact Rexdale community health center at 8, Taber road in Etobicoke area. They would enroll your wife in a program where they would bare all charges of tests and delivery even if your baby is delivered before you guys get the OHIP cards. Remember it make sense to keep at least 100 days gap between the baby's due date and landing because your cards will reach you after 90 days. However this Rexdale option covers you for any pre partum tests so you don't pay anything even though you don't have OHIP cover.

You can send me a personal mail for any queries on this subject.

Regards,

Javiya

Since you went through the similar situation I was going to advise Babub to contact with you Javiya but I see you already replied. Even though you settled thanks for still helping and guiding forum members. +1 for this.

Any one can help me on the above..?

It is always better if you send all docs together....In case of FBI check, it is going to take atleast a month + 10 days.

Hii,

If in case the application is filed in October and assuming it takes three months to reach Central Intake office, will the application will fall under current FSWP and accepted or by this time express entry system will be considered. Please any credible reply to this.

Thanks.

Why will it take three months to reach CIO??? use a fast courier service like DHL, UPS or FedEx. It will reach in four days max...
