Hi
Can any one advice on how to get the FBI report from INDIA ..Please

This is what i have done.

Started off by calling a few Fingerprint agents. They all quoted 3-4k each for doing fingerprints for me and my wife. Since it seemed exorbitant, I decided to explore other options.

STEP 1
Download and Print the FD 258 form
(try to get 3-4 copies)
(As per the, Character requirements document for the United states,
Provide:
a covering letter if required,
a set of both rolled/inked and plain fingerprint impressions placed on a
standard paper fingerprint card,
satisfactory proof of identity,
consisting of full name,
date and place of birth,
postal address for return of results.

STEP 2
Go to the local police station and get my fingerprints done
(Pay/Bribe then whatever to get this done quickly Wink Wink.)

Step 3: Submit payment.

Option 1: Pay by credit card using the Credit Card Payment Form. Don't forget to include the expiration date of the credit card that you are using.
Option 2: Obtain a money order or certified check for $18 U.S. dollars made payable to the Treasury of the United States. Please be sure to sign where required.

Step 4:

Review the Identity History Summary Request Checklist to ensure that you have included everything needed to process your request.

STEP 5
Courier the FD 258 form to the following address,
FBI CJIS Division – Record Request,
1000 Custer Hollow Road Clarksburg,
WV 26306

Thank You

Congrats on recieving your MR..just got a question on your ECAS status...
Do VVO update second line on ecas stating the start of processing date?
Or have you straight away got MR request, without any ecas updates..
I've been awaiting some news from VVO since 7 months...nothing seems to be happening with my file..
Turning unrest day by day :(

Dear,

Process may differ for different applicants and various factors such as Visa office, Visa Officer, completion of your file, any problem in history or background check etc. Just sit tight and wait with faith. You will here good news soon. You can do one thing to undo your unrest. Drop an email to your Visa office or raise CSE. That may help.

Hi Guys,

A fourth line has been added "Decision Made ...", I hope to receive a PPR soon.

NOTE FOR THOSE WHOM HAVE BEEN REQUIRED TO SUBMIT FBI CLEARANCE:

CPC-O had asked me to submit FBI clearance, however, I sent a specific inquiry email informing them that I had not stayed in USA for 6 months or longer, hence, FBI clearance should not have been required from me. After 5 weeks I received a response stating that an officer would review my file and contact me if FBI clearance was still required and no further action was required.

4 days after receiving that email, A decision made has shown up in my eCAS.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

My Qualification is Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Civil Engineering.

My Job Title for 3 out of 4 jobs was 'Planning Engineer' while for 1 job it was 'Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)'. My job descriptions are more or less same as given on HRSDC website for civil engineers while both mentioned job titles are not there among the example titles given for civil engineers (2131).

Can I use above mentioned job titles of 'Planning Engineer' and 'Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)' or CIC will only accept given title on HRSDC?

Best Regards,

Rizwan Ali

They must have mentioned a date by which you will have to submit your passports and medicals, i.e. 45 days from the receipt of request. What i feel is they will review your file on that date, and if your medicals are received and your RPRF is encashed, they will ask for your passports... Check with your bank whether your RPRF is encashed or not, attend the CIIP sessions and wait... :D
26th July the date mentioned in my letter has passed. Still no update from NDVO.

Can anyone from a visa exempt country who has been asked to pay RPRF/submit copy passports let me know the deadline set by the visa office at this stage? Was it 60 days like most other requests from visa offices?

We are just trying to figure out when to renew my husband's passport as we need to do it before COPR issued (as his passport expires mid January and we can't land until end Jan / early Feb) but it will take minimum 6 weeks and we have quite a few trips booked up in next little while.

If 60 days are granted it means we can go on trip at end Sept and then renew.

Any help much appreciated!

Good luck

HI all,

Please help!!Please help!!Please help!!Please help!!

I am in great confusion. I have been asked from Canadian high commission to pay the fees along with the passport of the new born baby, in procedure to add a applicant due to birth.

Can you help me to decide weather I should pay the fees in INR or $ and in favor of Canadian high commission or receiver general of Canada, to add new baby to my application?. I have made dd for INR 8200 in favor of Canadian high commission as it is mention on the link they sent.

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx

Please assist. And do you know anyone who have made this kind of DD to add a child to their application?

I live near by NDVO, is it advisable to visit NDVO directly for this concern or going to VFS Delhi would be more beneficial regarding this concern?

Thanks in advance. please reply soon.

I don't know how short of a stay you are thinking about. If it's just a couple of days, you could try out Howard Johnson or Super 8 as they provide with almost everything you need to feel at home, for a pretty reasonable price.

Whenever you decide to rent an apart, do not do business with "HAR-PAR Investments". They are not welcoming to New Comers. I know a few persons who have lost thousands of dollar to that company due to various reasons. Don't get tricked also.

Hi guys, I am new to this forum ;D, i am planning for FSW and have gone through lot of information and guide over past few weeks. i still have some doubts which are not mentioned anywhere, it would be great if somebody helps me clear these doubts ;D.

1- I have worked from 10-07-2013 to 08-07-2014 - Will CIC consider it 1 full year or 1 day short of year and would reject my application?

2- Salary slips have to be last three months or any of the 3 months covering my 1 year period?

3-One of the agent said me I have to show supporting evidence of funds of 8,00,000 INR for 15 - 30 days max - can that be true?

4-I have just tax return history, by the HMRC, UK , Liverpool , of past employment and some P60's, can that be enough along with experience letter?

5-I have 2 job experience, 2nd company is giving me all details of job duties as per NOC 0911, but old company is not. My agent says i just need to show my job duties on latest experience. For old experience i just need to show title, hours of work, job title, duration, on letter head - is it true?

Thank you guys, this forum rocks
