I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE ASKING FBI CERTIFICATE. i HAVENT STAYED IN US FOR NOT MORE THAN 6 MONTHS OR 180 DAYS.

First of all congratulations buddy....

What I think ur case officer may ignored the period(just a guess, ccan be other reasons too)....

In that case send a CSE immediately to NDVO asking this situation.... also state the period u stayed on US.

U can also attach ur PP copy in which entry and exit stamps are given on this CSE...

If they take more than three-four days to reply then I will suggest u to take preparation for FBI report....

It may have some hassle but not that much impossible....Lots of Indian applicants are getting this from India......

My bro in law had the same query on PCC. u need to write a mail on the dates u stayed . ur passport copy in which the immigration stamp confirms the entry and exit. this should help.

My wife and I only received medical requests, nothing else - no PCC renewals, and PR Fees already paid with application couple of months ago. Have anyone ever received medical requests and then a request for an interview afterwards? Or should we not be worried about such an instance?

Any advise or experience will help greatly!

IF I am paying "Right of Permanent Resident Fee " from India by taking the DD from the Bank.
What is the procedure and under whose name I need to DD.
I am accompanied by my wife and daughter.
What is the DD amount I need to consider for a family of 3..?
I am planning to go by HDFC bank

Please advice.

RPRF fee is only for people above 18 years. If your child is below then no need to pay for your child.
Fee per person is $490.
Means you have to pay $980 for you & your spouse.
DD should be in favor of "The Receiver General For Canada" payable at New Delhi.
But it should be in Indian currency.

When I had applied in May 2014 I was staying in India; therefore I listed my visa office as New Delhi. However, a week ago I moved to USA on H1B visa. US will be my residence for next 2-3 years. In this scenario how can I request update to my visa office? I guess it shall be CPC-Ottawa?

Please see below reply from Saleem, where in 3rd paragraph CHC guided Saleem that the fee for adding new born should be in $ and payable in Canada only. Please see the case as it is more relevant to UK but is the same condition applicable to NDVO and also do you know anyone except yourself who paid fee for adding new applicant in the application in INR and in favor of Canadian high commission?

Please advise , to add newborn in my application got the following reply from LVO. please guide me about RED highlighted:


A new dependant can be added during the processing of an application. Please note that the eligibility of new dependents will be assessed by the visa officer.

In order to add the child to an application for permanent residence at this office, we require the following documents:



processing fee for your child (if accompanying you to Canada)
your child's long form birth certificate
copy of your child's valid passport
4 recent photographs of your child
updated IMM0008 Generic for yourself (which must include your new dependant's information) and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse

Please note, the processing fee for your child (if accompanying you to Canada) cannot be accepted in the UK. It must be paid in Canada. The receipt should be sent to CPC-Mississauga, who will update the payment information for the file. ( how i can do this payment ? )

Please contact us only if there are significant issues that arise, as we are focusing our efforts on processing files and may not be able to respond to routine case enquiries. Also, please do not send duplicate hard copies. ( what does mean it )

I have some doubts regarding physical verification [BC] as my work is mainly on client locations, which changes frequently, than my original head office. In my application I send details of my head office [no details of clients]. Now only I came to know about this physical verification part

1. Does every application from NDVO has to undergo physical verification?
2. If any one of the employee from my head office fails to recognize my photo, is that possible to redirect them to my current client location?
3. Will this physical verification is only for current employment or for previous employments?

Buddy can't do any thing except praying so keep your fingers crossed. Many people have given feedback for the reference letter that it depends on the visa officer who will assess your file. He may or may not consider this as full time job. If your file gets through completeness check and you get file number then you can submit additional reference letter to minimise further risk. This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are missing the following information and/or documentation in your application:

-Please submit new, original police certificates for you and your spouse

We have issued you and your spouse medical instruction. Please be informed that the babies will also have to undergo medical examinations, for which we will issue you instructions to them. (If you wish, you can undergo the required medical examination all together at the same time as the babies)

Please submit the following documents after the birth of the babies:
