IF I am paying "Right of Permanent Resident Fee " from India by taking the DD from the Bank.
What is the procedure and under whose name I need to DD.
I am accompanied by my wife and daughter.
What is the DD amount I need to consider for a family of 3..?
I am planning to go by HDFC bank

Please advice.

Hi Srini,

Pay in INR. For two people the amount is 53400. Pay in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi. Any bank draft is accepted. Just make sure the amount is as per the below link...
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng
Write your file number behind the draft and courier is with your e-medical receipt

Dear Friends,
I am FSW2014 applicant. I have some doubts regarding physical verification [BC] as my work is mainly on client locations, which changes frequently, than my original head office. My application contains details of my head office [no details of clients]. Now only I came to know about this physical verification part

1. Does every application from NDVO has to undergo physical verification?
2. If any one of the employee from my head office fails to recognize my photo, is that possible to redirect them to my current client location?
3. Will this physical verification be only for current employment or for previous employments?

Thanks in advance

HI

could someone give an insight on SIN card, and how it should be applied ? whether it can be obtained from the airport while landing or do we have to get from the service center ?
I heard it takes a while to get the SIN no, and until then one cannot work ???
Also, I have read somewhere in the forum few people renewing their SIN no's while updating them with employers, why do we have to do this.

thanks in advance.

regards,

You can get all the information from the following link http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/sin/apply/how.shtml Some large airports like Toronto have service centres where you can get your SIN after getting your COPR is stamped. Otherwise, go to the nearest Service Canada in your city the day after your arrival. Getting your SIN card is very quick while you wait. You need SIN to start working. What do you mean "renewing their SIN numbers." Once a SIN is given, it is for life, it does not need to be renewed.

Hello friends.

I need your help especially from someone who is under NOC 2171 category! :)

I work as a Business System Analyst but have a non tech background (MBA) and does most of the things mentioned in the JOB duties on NOC website EXCEPT the HIGHLIGHTED ones.

NOC 2171
Information systems business analysts and consultants confer with clients to identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.

My reference letter mentions following duties, can anyone please confirm if it covers what all is required by CIC under NOC 2171 BSA roles. Would I be safe to apply under 2171 with these duties.

1) Responsible for thoroughly understanding and communicating stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and document all requirements accordingly.
2) Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
3) Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
4) Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.
5) Track progress and review project tasks to ensure deadlines are met appropriately.
6) Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and organisational goals.
7) Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder's needs and requirements continuously in view.
Cool Work closely with the application managers, application owners, developers, and testers to respond to evolving business requirements.
9) Conducting business research and studying market trends in relevant technology, preparing reports, defining strategic recommendations.
10) Manages and coordinates user acceptance testing.
11) Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and system enhancements.
12) Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
13) Collaborate with geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams.

Your help is much appreciated.

Anybody from austalian vo - 2013

Hi Guys,

Can anyone please let me know if there were any cases of rejections once we get PER in 2013...especially from New Delhi visa office.
Sorry for sounding negative, just wanted to know if there were any cases as I could not find any in 2013 spreadsheet.

Thank you.

Congrats on recieving your MR..just got a question on your ECAS status...
Do VVO update second line on ecas stating the start of processing date?
Or have you straight away got MR request, without any ecas updates..
I've been awaiting some news from VVO since 7 months...nothing seems to be happening with my file..
Turning unrest day by day :(
