Hello Everyone,

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if there is anyone who had applied for PR in FSW 2013 and have received the Visa?

You can understand that since, the Canadian Authority had promised that they shall complete the process with in a years time, I am really anxious to know if someone have managed to complete the whole process.

I applied May 10, 2013 but still waiting for feedback from CIC.

I've been snooping around a lot and I have noticed that most of the FWS1 2013 applicants have received their PPR1 along with their medical request by Visa Officers. I received my medical and I submitted the same with in a month, but I have not yet received PPR1 request.

Is that something abnormal and should I panic.

I thought ottawa office was the fastest to complete applications. do you think there is something different in application for this case? my medical received status is also not updated yet in fsw2014. I hope I dont land up in same scenario.

Yes...Cpp-O is usually very fast, I cant say if something is wrong in this case, and they are usually equally fast to inform you if something is wrong. And he did his medical over 8 months ago....could just be that his file has kinda been forgotten, which is why emailing them about it may be a good idea.....if they have any concerns they can communicate them to him at that point so that he can address them.

I had a bad interview at Abu Dhabi back in February 2014 where the visa officer told me that he is not satisfied that I meet the noc job duties. However he told me that he will take another look at my file when he gets back to London and that I should hear back from them in 4 to 6 weeks.

On May 2014, a second line was added to my ecase saying that we have started processing your application on.....

I sent a CSE on May to inquire on the status of my application. The reply came a month later saying: "your file is current with the vo and we expect a letter to be mailed to you shortly".

Nearly two months has elapsed and I have not received anything yet (not even a medical request).

What are your views? Do you think they mean a rejection letter will be mailed to me as they have implied?

I would really appreciate your thoughts or similar experiences.

application sent 5th of june 2013. processing started 6th of jan 2014. med request rprf request 3rd of July 2014 ( PCC already submitted with application). but no passport request with medical. medical done on 14th of july. med recieved on 18 th of july. rprf encashed on 25h of july. but till now didn`t receive ppr. guys do u have any idea about wait for ppr. does rprf encashment means approval of our application. My ECAS status is in process. how long do we wait for decision made.
