Fellows,

Got my GCMS notes today. Ordered through visafile.info a month ago, I can highly recommend their service. Was pleasantly surprised that CIC released them after only four weeks, was expecting the usual six weeks/45 days. Apparently CIC itself is working pretty fast these days, unlike some local VOs... :)

Interesting highlights:

  • The report was ran on June 16th (the same day visafile.info applied), so the time seems to be spent mostly reviewing/cleansing it
  • All assessments are marked as not started. The elegibility assessment is due on Aug 8th (one year from PER date), but all admissibilities (security, criminality, medicals, etc.) are due on 2 sept 2013 - I don't think this is realistic as it would have been about two weeks after the AOR, don't really think the local VO could have pulled it off so quickly
  • Notes corresponding to PER review were more or less in line with what I expected. Got 68 points. Expected, and got, 0 points for adaptability. However I got only 9 points for experience - they only took into count the one year within the past decade where I worked under NOC 2174, not the other 9 years under other 0/A/B NOCs (this used to be heavily debated here :)) But again this was more or less expected and self-calculated points showed it was enough, thank God indeed it was

Am now half-jokingly wondering whether raising a CSE about those Sept '13 due dates would prod the VO to work faster or instead make me come across as annoying and demanding, thus lessening my chances :P In all seriousness, I was already intending to wait until early August before raising a CSE... Will enjoy a couple more busy summer weeks before taking further action.

Thanks. I've lived in 3 countries and currently not living in Pakistan. and in Pakistan my spouse has lived in two different cities. I was hoping that only one PCC for current address in Pakistan should be sufficient, but the wording in the PCC makes me confuse. I want to submit once what is actually required. Does your PCC says that DURING your stay at theses addresses your police record is clear or does it says your police record in India is clear?

Any body here from Paistan who submitted only one PCC for last address and get accepted?

If you have been living in any other country then you will have to get PCC from that country as well if your stay is more than 6 months in those countries. However, for Pakistan, only one PCC for the last address will be fine. I have done the same thing. I am living at my current address for last two years and have submitted the PCC for the same and till now there is no PCC requirement has been made by LVO. The wordings are fine as nowadays the criminal records are computerized so it will not be an issue to check your criminal record.

Cheers!

I have sent multiple CSE's to which they didnot reply...Also visited them personally 2 times. On the ast occasion i even had genuine wedding invitation with me. But both times, I was told by the lady at the counter...YOU CAN TAKE YOUR PASSPORTS BACK..BUT THE DECISION REGARDING YOUR APPLICATION IS STILL PENDING. And that i may have to resubmit if requiered at later stage....I refused taking passports back. I had ordered GCMS notes and did not find anything negative/suspicious regarding my file. Everything seemed just as I expected..Normal. Also I think notes suggest BGC has not been done as its mentioned at a point "No surveillance required"...Also I cannot verify if it had been done as I changed Job at the time I got Passport request & have no special contact in HR if they got a call or visit.....My only suspicion is my updating them of job change after about 2.5 months of submission has delayed my case.

Thank you for letting us know. I can understand it would be really frustrating for you at the moment. Really hope you get the stamped visas back soon. Praying for you!
