We received medical requests dated April 1. My wife is 3 months pregnant and prefers to complete the medicals after birth ( I agree). I have since completed my medicals and she has done all the tests except the chest xray. I think I am on top of the process but can anyone advise of the process for pregnancy ( the steps to take in notifying the local embassy etc).

Hi Experts,

I am a FSW 2014 applicant. I applied last year but my file was returned because the cap reached limit. This year, my file has already reached CIC today and I just realized that in form IMM5669e background declaration Personal History section, although I mentioned details without any gap, including the information when I was in my homeland India and when I was in USA for my work assignments on work visa but I forgot to mention the days I visited other countries (UK for 3 days and Canada for a week) from USA while I was still out of India and still on USA work visa.

However, I have mentioned all travels including USA work, UK and Canada tourism visits in another form IMM5562 supplementary info travels.

My question is, would not mentioning tourism visits in IMM5669e personal history cause rejection of my application? Should I send another courier to CIC with the modified form by including these visits information. Please advise. Thanks.

Email for enquiry is: fsw-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca

You can obtain your UCI/Client ID by calling 1-613-944-4000 even from outside Canada. If you have a client ID assigned and do not see any update in the ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do); I would certainly write CIC an email asking for an update and reason if the application was returned.

Hope this helps, good luck man. I understand how difficult it is waiting when you hanging on a decision that will have a huge impact on your life.

Thanks, yes the wait is anguishing. Especially when applications sent much later have already received PER's.

You are expected to send an enquiry after 8-10 weeks that your application has been received by CIC.

Thank you, how much time do they take to respond?

Application 1 = Submitted August 2013 for NOC 0211 - Returned January 2014 due to cap being filled. :'(

Application 2 = Submitted October 2013 for NOC 2243 after reading on web that NOC 0211 was full. Sent with photocopies of documents such as IELTS but enclosed an explanation stating that the originals were already with CIC. - Returned January 2014 due to only sending photocopies! >:(

Application 3 = Submitted January 2014 for NOC 2243 - Returned with the following reason "I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you performed actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as described of the NOC 2243. As your application does not meet the requirements of R(10) of IRPA, it is considered incomplete and is being returned for this reason" ----- this application was assessed and returned in the mail to us within 20 days but it took a further 40 days to reach us!! ???

Application 4 = Submitted with revamped letter of reference and letter endorsing application from Immigration Lawyer based in Vancouver. Success. :P ;D

You should be fine, no need to submit another package to CIO in my opinion. As I understand it, IMM5669 is intended to reflect periods you've lived somewhere as opposed to short visits. You've mentioned the visits in form IMM5562, so I think you're covered. I am by no means an expert, but I did get my PER and my forms were filled similarly to yours, i.e. no short visits documented as part of the gapless personal history required on IMM5669.

I have decided to send the application by this weekend, can anyone tell how CIO will communicate with me if any additional information is required and how much time do they take to respond +ve/-ve.

Please confirm.

Hi Seniors,

I have submitted photos of Primary Applicant, Spouse and Kid along with application package mentioning name and date of birth of the person on photo, but forgot to mention date of photo taken.

Will it be an issue with my application, did any one had faced similar situation and if so what was the outcome.

Your advice is much appreciated..

Sreeram

Dear seniors can any body tell me the CIO mail id, I have dropped the application on 10th april, but I haven't received any mail from CIO. I don't what's wrong with my application. So, I would like to contact the immigration office through e-mail, I tried to contact them by phone but, that is waste of time. Nobody giving any information.
