Hey kollins,
1. Do you when was your CC charged? And the time gap between CC Charged and PER?
2. Did your ECAS status update as soon you received the PER?

Thanks dude
Thanks.

1.I used DD but I didnt check from bank to know when it was en-cashed.From the PERS mail that I received,it shows that it was encashed on the 8th May,2014
The gap will be five days (13th - 8th) ...3 working days.

2. The ECAS status is yet to update.
You should understand that the ECAS server get updated at intervals and not on daily basis. The last time the ECAS server was updated is 25th April,2014 - a date that my application fees was not yet encashed nor my package fully examined so it will be funny for me to be expecting it.When the next server update for ECAS is made,my information witl surely be updated.

Hope I did justice to your request.!

Cheers!

Thanks for the response man; had no clue ECAS has its own update time. Thumbs up

Time line = details of your application

NOC code?
Visa office (VO)?
Date file application at CIO?
Date PER received?
Date application was transferred to VO / processing started?
Date MR received and in your case May 9th etc

Hi Kollins,
I would just like to share my case regarding the ECAS. I had my UCI number from my last application. So i kept checking it even before my CC charge. After the CC was charged, still there was no update. One fine morning, my ECAS started showing "In Progress", but i did not receive any PER mail. I got the PER only 12 hours after my ECAS was activated. Not sure why your ECAS status is still blank...

Seems different experience for different people!
Also...It seems your CC was debited on Monday 5th May,2014 and from the site ,it says "The Client Application Status site is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays".
My DD was encashed on 8th April,2014 so I guess it was not yet updated yet......that's my only logical explanation to it.

No, they won't. It sucks, I personally do not like how CIC handles applications that need to be returned. My application was returned but I did not know for sure till after 2.5 months from application received date when CIC responded to my status inquiry email saying my application was returned. And it takes forever for you to receive your packet back plus you vaguely know what was the reason for rejection.

I would suggest you wait till 30 days have passed or/and shoot them an email.

Hi, what is the email ID of CIC where we can send an inquiry for our application? and after how many weeks of application received at CIC do they respond? Thanks.

Hi

I have a query.

I am at the same organization for over 5 years. I have started from the bottom and my responsibilities have got progressively more so that where it is now, it matches up with almost all of the NOC. The experience letter from my employer notes three different positions and gives the respective periods as well as demonstrate the progressive responsibilities. My question is this: On Schedule 3, Question 12b, I have noted the 3 different positions I was in (all in the same NOC), and in the Main Duties column on the form, I have written a synopsis of the duties of the least position (e.g. Intern), then for the next position promoted to, (because of limited space) I wrote - "Main duties as Intern in addition to ..." and listed a few additional progressive responsibilities, then finally for my current position which I am using to be assessed for the 2014 FSWP in 12a, I wrote "Main duties as [previous position] in addition to ..." and again listed a few additional progressive responsibilities. All of this information is given in more detail in the experience letter.

Is this an ok way to fill out this form?

Email for enquiry is: fsw-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca

You can obtain your UCI/Client ID by calling 1-613-944-4000 even from outside Canada. If you have a client ID assigned and do not see any update in the ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do); I would certainly write CIC an email asking for an update and reason if the application was returned.

Hope this helps, good luck man. I understand how difficult it is waiting when you hanging on a decision that will have a huge impact on your life.

cic-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca
You are expected to send an enquiry after 8-10 weeks that your application has been received by CIC.

dear friend,

need not quote 'in addition to' just give some bullet main duties, they will verify with your exp. letter
But ensure that for each position you have role & resp. written in the exp letter that matches with NOC code
