Dear Experts / Seniors / Applicants from Dubai ,

Please Help me in filling the following details in Generic Application form .

I am Presently in UAE , UAE with my family and have a residence visa ( similar to visa for all working expatriates in uae which expires after every 2 or 3 years) . Please let me know the following details .

1, Box 4 - Immigration office requested for processing in United Arab Emirate ? IS Immigration office same Visa Office .. in that case which office i need to specify ?

2, Box 10 - Current Country of residence - UAE , but Status ? ( there is no option for specifying " Resident " as specified in our Visa , should we specify " Worker " - ( if worker then can only show present 3 years validity ) ; or as "Other " and in the Other box - as " Resident " with no date details )

3,Should we Mark by Pen " Not Applicable " in all the boxes which we are not filling ?

4, National Identity Document - Should we mention Emirates ID card Details or Indian ID card ( issued from Election commission of India ) or Specify as NO.

5, In Education / Occupation details for Children of 7 years of age - Current Occupation ? and Indented Occupation ? - Should we specify Not applicable or Studying ??

6, After Typing the From should we take print out in Laser jet or normal .

7, After printing should we enter any boxer which we left empty as " not applicable " using Pen?

8, Is there any rule for signing the documents only using Black ink pen ?

9,Elementary / Primary schooling from 1st to 10th or should we consider 2 years of KG done before also ?? .

may be... they must have handed over our files to 3rd party people who undertake bcg check activity...
They must be having a long list of bcg checks to be completed...
lets take sam's case...
His processing started in dec. and got bcg check in feb.
Most probably he was in a queue for bcg conducted by NDVO/3rd party...

This is what i assume... The rest depends upon God & NDVO :-\

My Second LIne was added almost 90 days ago.

And still no update from NDVO...I dont even know if the BGC has done...because i dont work for that company anymore.

I sent CSE on March 5ht stating the same that i changed job and attached my offer for the new company...

But no reply from NDVO as of now...I have almost lost all the hope .....Now that FSW 2014 has started i dont even think i have a chance of getting my MR anymore this year.

Its really being Upset.

Specify New Delhi if you are comfortable submitting your original passport at New Delhi at a later visa office processing stage otherwise specify London if you have resided in UAE for more than one year.

You can mark "N/A" by black ink pen or if possible by typing.

You can as already discussed earlier

Better use black ink pen

Elementary and secondary education is from 1st to 12th, divide accordingly

Hi Friends

Upon landing, can one start working in Canada only with COPR???

And once i have applied my PR card and given an address for mailing the PR, can i fly back to India immediately, and leave the PR card to be collected and brought back to India by family/ friends?? Is it legal and safe ? Should i give any authorization letter to my friend to collect the PR card? Should i give any authorization letter to my family members to carry the PR card from Canada to India?? will they check? will it be a problem?

Will an immigration official question me if i re enter canada later with PR card, though i have earlier left Canada immediately after applying for PR and have not waited inside Canada to collect the PR?

Please help with solutions

Generic appl form is Online Form. Do not write any thing (after printing) other than your name & sign in the last sheet. All other info. is online filled and barcode contains those details.

For all 'N/A' is blank and its OK.

I was advised by a Canadian Immigration Officer that it is better to put "N/A" then to just leave it blank.

you are right for all the appl. forms except Generic form, It's Online form. CIC wants all the info from barcode. If you can type N/A during online appl. fill then its ok.

Anyway its individual choice.
