Folks I want to know where lawyers add value (if hired) for FSW application. I see they charge upto 2500$ for application preparation, so need to know where exactly they add value in the process.

No need to hire a lawer or a consultant. CIC has made the application forms very clear and each form field has got very clear instruction on how to fill. Also document checklist is the master list to refer to for collecting all documents. I am sure you will be easily able to complete the application process yourself.

I think you can include income statements, contracts as well as references from your clients.
But there must be someone more experienced here who can answer in more details.

Well, I don't have clients per se. I sell iPhone/iPad apps on iTunes AppStore and get paid by Apple for the downloads after deducting the commission. I need some help here.

My education history.

First, I have completed 3 year diploma.
Then I have completed 3 year degree. ( course duration was of 4 year but as i have completed diploma i was allowed to jump 1st year. )

Yes mr.hope i did not started from 1st year and started form 2nd year. But as per my university rule we had to clear 4 subjects from 1st year (2 subjects for 2 semester). So i do have mark-sheets for all 4 year.

I have sent WES only my degree documents ( transcripts + all mark-sheets + degree certificate ).

Now my transcripts shows that course duration was of 4 years. And i was student of university for 3 years.

How do i clarify this to WES people ? (They have not asked me yet, but in case if they do.)

More over if how do i show them that i was allowed to jump 1st year as i had a diploma. ( please suggest me which or any paper that proves this situation to both cic and wes. )

In my view, you should select 'NO' since you have not been refused a Visa. It's only that your application was incomplete and was returned back. Also since you might already have a UCI number, you will quote the same along with your application and CIC can check against the same for why the application did not go through last time around.

WES has a list of Universities which are sort of pre-approved and any student who has passed out from such University should not have a problem getting WES evaluation report. You can check if your university is listed by doing a 'Self assessment' for your credential on the WES website. It is completely free of cost and you can get the report on mail.

Also when WES reviews, they check for registrar approved/ attested transcripts. So if you have provided the same from the University in a sealed envelope, WES evaluation should not be a problem at all.

Submit all your acd. certificates as per WES requirement. It's only ONE ECA. it will give final result your upto date study equv. in Canadian system.

No need to apply two ECA. all the best.

I got attestation from usab, attestation officer an it was accepted by Wes.

Thank you Fiazzz and other friends. Now I called WES directly and the customer service officer told me that anything outside controller/registrar office is unacceptable. Madras university says this is the only attestation they can give (USAB). In this fix, I hope that WES officer gave a very general reply as Fiazzz/s application has been accepted.
