This is the original message, they sent;

Police certificates for yourself, your spouse and each dependent child over the age of 18

o You, your spouse and your dependent children over the age of 18 must submit an updated police certificate from the country where they are currently residing

o You must submit a police certificate from every country where you and your spouse have resided more than six months if it has not already been submitted; this requirements applies also to your dependent children if they have resided in foreign countries for more than six months after their 18th birthday

o Our website contains useful information on how to obtain foreign police certificates: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/index.asp

But on the immigration application package guide on CIC's website, it says;

Police certificates

All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
•a valid police certificate, or
•police clearance, or
•record of no information.

These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

Here is the link;

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

In that case you must write to the VO asking why have they asked for PCCs again when you have already sent them with your application.

one of my friend has done B.tech in ECE & complete job experience is of IT with 5+ yrs.
job duties match exactly with noc 2174 (Computer programmers & interactive media services).
can my friend apply in noc 2174
Did anyone with the same combination apply in 2013 & got their PR

I've already asked about Canadian police certificate to them. Waiting for reply from Warsaw VO.

Probably they asked, because the one, I sent at the initial application, is already more than 3 months old.

Hi Guys

Finally landed in Canada on April 23rd. Landed in Winnipeg. I was the only one that was landing. The officer was super friendly and said he hasn't done this in a while and took the rule book to look at the steps. He signed and stamped my COPR and asked me to sign as well. He asked if I had the money, didn't check it though. He was super friendly and started talking about my job as he had a medical condition and asked me for some suggestions. He was not able to complete the final portion of his online system and he called for some help. A few other officers came by and tried to help him, but they were not able to. They were not sure if it went through or not. Then they gave me their phone number and asked to call the next day to confirm. Then I went to the clerk who stamped by Goods to follow docs and he was very friendly too. I called them, the next day and they said everything went through fine. I checked the online status this morning and it said, the process is complete and showed that I landed in Winnipeg.

My questions:

1. They didn't get my application for PR card. They just got my address and said PR card will automatically be sent and no application is necessary. Is it true?

2. I landed in Winnipeg and Winnipeg's CBSA stamped my goods to follow. I have a job offer from Edmonton as well. If I decide to take that offer and come to edmonton, can I use the same "goods to follow" stamp while taking my goods?

Please advise.
