I have a question regarding PCC.

Is it necessary to have name of the spouse on passport to get PCC from india ?

I have my spouse name on my passport, but my spouse does not have my name in her passport. If i want to her PCC then she needs to get her passport endorsed with my name ? has anyone gone through this situation ?

My question is as 2014 FSWP program is approaching by May 1 , 2014 Can I apply for 2014 or I require to wait for a negative reply for 2013 FSWP Program ?

There is no problem to apply under FSWP 2014 since u dont know anything abt ur previous application. Just do it.

Thanks to all, was not on the forum for very long, actually joined on the 21st of April, 2014, because needed to know if anybody had got a PR on an urgency request. Replies were kind of vague at best. Well I e-mailed the consulate every day since the 21st of April, 2014 as I needed my passports on the 25th, of April, 2014, and though they did not respond to my first two e-mails they responded on the morning of the 24th of April, 2014 by e-mail and telephone requesting me to come and collect the passports from the NDVO as the had completed processing. Yesterday I collected my passports with the PR Visa and the COPR docs, so I guess letters of Genuine Urgency for passport are heeded to. The date of entry stamped is until 18/02/2015. Category applied under was 0211.
Best of Luck to all, especially those who have been waiting for long.

I think they are waiting for new FSW opening so that they will get some more pressure to clear back log and current applications.

This new 2014 program is Express Entry, It is disadvange for FSW13, VO may start wroking on new program and keep the old appl. aside.

It was the case always in CIC.

So before they receive appl under new program Let us pray god to get out of this tension... 8)

I would like to apply for the FSW 2014. Is there anybody here that had a ECA evaluation that is not equivalent of that in canada like my situation that was processed. Example a Med Technologist that studied a bachelor's degree in his home country but got on only a 2 year diploma equivalent.

I'm a registered nurse from the Philippines. My problem is that the WES ECA assessment for my 4 year bachelor's degree in nursing is only equivalent to "2 year post secondary diploma/ nursing assisstant (equivalent to LPN in canada)" in canada. Canada requires bachelors degree for RN's. I checked the License Practical Nurse (LPN) requirement and it only require "two year nursing diploma". Unfortunately I only have work experience as a staff nurse (here in the philippines its an RN position) , but technically, the job description of LPN are all covered under my RN position. Can I put the NOC of LPN and put the staff nurse as my occupation? Is this dangerous? because I'm a registered nurse here in Philippines and I'm applying under LPN.

As you mentioned earlier... you have 8 years of work experience in your present occupation. It would be wise to claim points for it. Hence I would advise you to apply with the NOC corresponding to your present occupation.

Can anybody tell me if I won't submit pcc with my application how much it delay my processing. Can I sent later when ask, As I have to apply for fswv 2014 asap.. All documents ready except pcc ... I have photocopy of pcc of oct 2013 which I send in fswv 2013 but fill return.. My original pcc was lost... Can photocopy work
