Thank u for ur response.I also hv about 2years work experience as a civil engineer cz that was d job I did before I started working in the bank.whc of d two nocs would u advise me to apply for as my primary noc considering d fact that my civil engineering experience is not as recent as my present occupation.thank u and looking forward to your reply

As you might all know that FSW2014 is announced. I am in dilemma whether to apply in 2173 (software engineers and designers) or 2174(computer programmers and interactive media developers). Both have 1000 cap.

Below is the list of responsibilities on letter of reference from current employer(working since 4 years with employer)

1) Create High level design
2) Prepare detailed design
3)Define and document interfaces with external system
4)Write code as per detailed design and interfaces
5) Unit test case design & execution
6)Integration test case design & execution
7)Identify and troubleshoot issues
8)Develop test scripts and test data for system environments.
9)Communicate effectively within team and external stakeholders & Mentor new hires in team

Can someone tell me what would be the best category to apply. Although job duties are matching with both NOCs.

I have a query regrding my job title ... I am eligible under noc 2281 and my current occupation is team lead so what shud i mention in economic class form under question 12(a) as COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNICIAN or the sub title in it which matches with my profile or my current job title which is team lead????
Anyone whi already got visa from fswp 2013??? Please reply URGENT!!!

This query is for all our star members, I have submitted my Passports and paid my RPRF fee on the 14th of April, 2014 (confirmed by NDVO), my Meds are done and show as received on the ecas site. I am in an extremely demanding international travel oriented job profile and have hence sent an urgency letter through my company to the NDVO, requesting them to expedite the processing so as I may receive my passports before 25th April, 2014. What are my chances and how much pestering will be required to get my passport back quickly........ I have sent them an email marked "Urgent" on the 21st of April, 2014 but they have not yet responded.

I am a FSW 2013 applicant, AOR received 21st September, 2013 file transfer to NDVO, 29th October, 2013, Meds, PP and RPRF request 24th February, 2014, Meds done and received on 27th Feb, 2014. PP's and RPRF DD sent on 11th April, 2014, recvd at NDVO on 14th April, 2014.

Thanks to all, was not on the forum for very long, actually joined on the 21st of April, 2014, because needed to know if anybody had got a PR on an urgency request. Replies were kind of vague at best. Well I e-mailed the consulate every day since the 21st of April, 2014 as I needed my passports on the 25th, of April, 2014, and though they did not respond to my first two e-mails they responded on the morning of the 24th of April, 2014 by e-mail and telephone requesting me to come and collect the passports from the NDVO as the had completed processing. Yesterday I collected my passports with the PR Visa and the COPR docs, so I guess letters of Genuine Urgency for passport are heeded to. The date of entry stamped is until 18/02/2015. Category applied under was 0211.
Best of Luck to all, especially those who have been waiting for long.
Mr. Hope, I hope I was of some assistance to you in my short stint on this forum.

According to the FSWP 2013 rules, you should have 1 year of work experience in the past 10 years, but the Express Entry will be a whole new program with its own rules. If I was you I'd wait until the rules of the next program are published to plan my application.
