Congrats for Getting updated on Medical Receipt Line i.e. Golden 3rd Line in Ecas
Further, I think Passport request is alongwith MR email itself, currently ForumName: Hirvish got MR and all other request.. Kindly re-check the email.
BTW, would you please share your timeline and your processing start date ?

Application received: Aug 7, 2013
Processing Start Date: Jan 31,2014
Medical Request Made: Feb 13,2014
Medicals done: Mar 01,2014
3rd line added to Ecas: Around Mar14, 2014

I rechecked the email again and again, it just asks us to appear for our medical and there is no mention of passport anywhere. Has there been any case where passport request has not been made despite a MR? Is there a number I can call or establish contact to check?? Like I said Medical was done over a month ago and still no request for RPRF. The processing started on Jan 31, 2014.What should I do???

Please help as I have this feeling that maybe I am missing something at my end!? :'( :'(

I want to suggest that your file is still in process. Probably they are yet to finish doing background and security check.
As long, as you have submitted all the outstanding documents and paid RPRF and have done medicals and the doctor did not call you back for any issue on your medicals, you should have your passport request on or before middle of this month (I am assuming CPP-O contact you for passport request within eight weeks of medicals).

In the passport request they have mentioned about a way to print the return
shipping label for US based addresses. Has anybody tried this option ?

Guys I have one question our of curiosity.
There is a 2nd line added in my ECAS : "your processing has been started on ..... "

So my question is that, what does this mean exactly.

Are they working on my file now (like verification, background check etc)?
OR
This is the date when my file reached Delhi Office and I am still in queue?

CIC increased the funds requirement comparing to last year by 6.381%. When the inflation is very low in Canada, whether living cost is increasing on some other way?

However those already filled their application can follow the earlier funds requirement? which we all proved along with appl. submission.

Since this fund mentioned on the site have to be taken along with u when u attempt to land on CA. So this fund should be on current time basis. Mentioned fund is calculated as such, u can live up immediate after ur landing time . So this fund availability should be carried out by the candidate during his landing. Which indicate that updated fund should be maintained by applicant preferably from now on.

Thats what is my opinion....

Dear panesar, It's a good sign that your file is progressing...

It's not that date your appl. reached. It must have reached much before. Now VO started processing your file and you will get next instruction as such MR (or additional doc. request, but in most of NDVO cases the next step is MR)
