Hi joe07joe07 said:Guys!! out of curiosity.. have seen in the Medical/PPR request sheet that many have their ECAS Status Details captured as - "We have received your application for PR on May 23rd, 2013" and so on.. does that mean that there was no second line for these guys? or is it they haven't reported to the admins.. kindly confirm ...this would help many waiting for MR/PPR..
would appreciate any members mentioned below answering this...
Many Thanks in Advance !!!

arbeh: What was the second line in your ECAS? In my case, my second line is "we have received your medical results" and there is not any line about "we started processing..."devkis said:Hi joe07
Apologize, as I could not reply to you earlier.
Whenever anyone reports MR or MR/PPR/RPRF, we move his/her record from "File Transfer + Processing started" sheet to "Medical & PPR" sheet.
As far as the ECAS Status Details column in the "MR & PPR" sheet is concerned, it is also possible that I may have missed people's posts about the 2nd or 3rd line appearing in the ECAS. Alternately, it is possible that in the excitement of getting MR, PPR they may not have reported about the 2nd line.
In short, it may not be helpful to look at ECAS Status Details (column AB) as-is in "MR & PPR" sheet to reckon any trend.
If I can get the updates from the individuals in your list, I will update their records quickly.
Sorry to hear about your case. i would suggest 2 things here.kollins said:Congrats to all forumites on your current stage of progress....not forgetting to pray for some of us that are yet to start the journey yet.
Some of you advised me when I made known the issues i had with my first application which enabled me to send my second application.
All i want is for forumites to constructively ask me questions on possible areas that you think might cause the "incomplete application"
I just want you all to ask me questions and let me know what possible reasons might make my forms incomplete.
Waiting for your response.
Thanks....Kalaideng said:Sorry to hear about your case. i would suggest 2 things here.
1. Get some one else to finalize the application for you. may be you are overlooking a few crucial details. because as applicants we get so engrossed with the documents that sometimes we miss things. if you live around new delhi we can meet up and i can help you with this.
2. i am not too sure about British council not releasing a spare copy of your result. but what i do know is that they do help in case of exceptional circumstances. if i was you, i would meet the records superintendent and explain him that you would come with you application pack where they can provide you with a copy of the result in a sealed/stamped envelope and you can include it there and then. you can even offer them to seal the envelope and arrange the courier collection from their office itself... sound difficult but not impossible (i have once made them write a letter to the passport office for speedy issue of my passport!!)
Hope it all works out well for you... ATB
You can tell them that it got lost in the mail or you left it in the taxi. Get a police report and apply. I did it. There was no issues.Kalaideng said:Sorry to hear about your case. i would suggest 2 things here.

Wel sad to hear that your application was returned twice. I believe your first application was rejected because of issue with indian credit card. RBI has mandated the foriegn transaction on CC should be blocked by default. You have to contact the bank and get it activated. Also the amount limit can be set for foreign transactions. This is what I got to know from this forum.kollins said:Congrats to all forumites on your current stage of progress....not forgetting to pray for some of us that are yet to start the journey yet.
Some of you advised me when I made known the issues i had with my first application which enabled me to send my second application.
I sent another/second application which was received on 25th march,2014...but I got confirmation again that my application has been returned because it was deemed incomplete.I knew this because cic sent a response to my request raised to them on 5th march about my first application. They were kind enough to comment about my 2nd application which according to them was returned on 4th April,2014.I got this response yesterday and I have since been confused.
I have ordered for another ECA report.....i should get it on Friday or Monday as I planned to send another application by Monday or Tuesday.
In their response to me,they claimed that my first application was returned as a result of payment issues -which i don't want to believe because my credit card has no issues in transactions like this.I used for my ECA evaluation in the same way that cic are supposed to use it.......infact ,i still used yesterday to order for another ECA report....and it was fine so i find it hard to believe that is the reason for been returned. They were silent on form IMM 5406 that i didn't fill very well for me and my spouse because i put my name in the applicant columns in both my form and that of my wife.
In their response to my 2nd application, they claimed it was incomplete which is throwing me off my feet! This because I was too extra careful in my second application.I still have an electronic copy of my application which i scanned briefly before sending it......i included every documents! The only document I do not have full control on is my IELTS result because British council can not release further copy to me but can include it in my application after i must have package it...,which they will send on my behalf after i must have paid shipment dues for them to do it on my behalf.I paid them and brought my completed application to them. They accepted and told me that they will include the IELTS before sending it........but there is no way i can confirm if they actually included.........that's my concern.
Even as i want to send another application as soon as I get my ordered ECA report,British council will still not give me......they will only tell me to bring my completed package for them to include it....but how can i confirm they actually included?
My guess......I just have to believe them.....this leave another potential error on my side when filling the forms.
I have actually checked and rechecked my photocopied form since yesterday and i seems to be okay....but thats for me.
