Hello everyone...it's been a looooong time...and finally I have an update on my application from SGVO even since the issue of PER 7months ago!!!

We received and email from SGVO today asking for a notarized copy of our marriage certificate to be send to them within 60 days.

So does this mean they have actually started processing our application? Because I still don't see the second line on ECAS...but I am hoping it's finally some good news to flow from SGVO as atleast they are looking at my application and it's not rotting on some corner!

Congratulations Raman85DEEP! Just few processes then you're there. Just wait for a couple of months. Good to know you managed to send your passport. How was it, your employer agreed that you pulled out your passport with them? Because there are companies that don't like to give your passport unless you resign.

First of all thanks. I am working as Safety Manager in my company means no need to submit my passport to the company always with me. So, I found someone close and took a risk to manage and sent it to INDIA. Some times you have to take a risk to avoid the risk.

it signifies that they have started processing your app.
and if everything is clear and OK, youl get your MR...

Dear All Memebers,

I am new in this thread. My process is going smoothly up to now. My application received by Nova Scotia on 1st August 2013, processing start 28 January 2014. Medical; passport; PCC and RPRF request 12 February. all is submitted by 20/03/14.

I want to know how much time it will take as I am working in Qatar and my passport I have sent through my friend and finally reached CHC-ND.

That's the update on what's the status of your application zolter. I mean, that's the present status of your application. Maybe in your case they just wrongly encoded your name on the second line.

That's good Raman85DEEP. I am thinking that same with us here in KSA, our company keep our passports. That's why the process of taking it takes time. Yes, I agree with you... to avoid risk you should take the risk.

Dear LakshmiSesh,
I do not see any reason for your reluctance to send the old passport to NDVO. In fact if you had gone thro VFS, they would have asked you to submit your old passport as well.
I would like to propose this action :
1. Send an e-mail through the official route to NDVO with your full name, Appln # Etc. that you are going to send the old passport now in support of your statement that .... Also in the subject line in CAPS, put the wording URGENT & IMPORTANT
2. Send the Passport with the cover letter
3. Keep your fingers crossed.
By delaying these actions you are risking yourself for a big delay / very less window of opportunity for immigration preparation.

adapacc iam suffering the same fate. I got DM on 6th March but till now no sign of passport. Did u submit through VFS? If so did u pay for return through Bluedart?

Dear Pradsim,
From what I understand, the situation is such that you will be issued an acknowledgement & later an invitation by the CIIP person. Then you can attend.
This might take long & hence I will PM you the details of the e-mail ID of the contact person so that you can send her a request permitting you to attend the session. Please check your forum inbox after 10 Mins.
