Hello everyone...it's been a looooong time...and finally I have an update on my application from SGVO even since the issue of PER 7months ago!!!

We received and email from SGVO today asking for a notarized copy of our marriage certificate to be send to them within 60 days.

So does this mean they have actually started processing our application? Because I still don't see the second line on ECAS...but I am hoping it's finally some good news to flow from SGVO as atleast they are looking at my application and it's not rotting on some corner!

Hello everyone, FINALLY received my passport today with the Canadian PR Visa. I also received 2 copies of COPR. One with photo and other without.

A million thanks to everyone in this forum. I really really appreciated it.

My timeline:

Application received - July 10th
MR and RPRF request - Jan 23rd 2014
Medicals done - Jan 26th
Passport request - Feb 26th
Passport received by CIC - March 4th
Passport posted back to me by regular mail by CIC - March 6th
I received the passport today - March 17th.

Visa issued - Feb 26
Expiry - Jan 29, 2015

Fellow CPC applicants - A word of advice - Please read the email sent by CIC carefully (unlike me) and use a prepaid canada post envelope or sticker with your return address. I used a UPS envelope and they sent it by regular mail.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi perfusionist, when did u get DM? I got my DM on 6th march 2014. I had sent my passports through VFS on 12th February 2014 itself. I had paid extra for return through Bluedart. So far in VFS website it says Inprocess and there is no sign of my passport return. Could u let me know when i can expect my passport back as people who got DM much later than me have got back their passports in 4-5 days.

Medicals copy, DD received by NDVO: 4th March
DD encashed by NDVO.. (Surprising - My bank RM confirmed)...6th March.
Medical Received line in ECAS: 7th March

Will send mine & spouse passport later as my spouse if out of country...

Finally I got my much awaited DM. Saw it just 5 mins back in E-cas..Thanks n congrats to everyone.. All the best to guys eagerly waiting for their MRs/DMs/Visa...My time line in addition to the quote above is as follows:

Photocopies of all pages of passport (myself/spouse) received by NDVO on 4th March.
Original Passport received by NDVO through VFSS on 19th March.. Spouse is in India on leave for 15 days.. I had filled urgent processing request form along with a request letter from the spouse employer to process fast.. I am not sure whether this worked as many applicants with time line same as mine are getting DM's/ visa stamped. So mine could also be a normal process also..

Just waiting to get the passport back so that the spouse can travel back to work.. Husman I pray for you man.. Hope you get the DM/Visa soon...
