Thanks. My self-calculated point is 74. I didnt send my husband's education docs along, except his IELTS. He's from the same university with me. My NOC is 2134 and he is a telecommunication engineer as declared in the forms.edvrfn said:I don't know if someone recieved similar request..But it seems they are trying to calculate points considering your wife's education and make you reach 67, which might be the reason for such a request. Did you send her education Doc's along the application or just declared in the forms and is her education from recognized institute?
Am afraid that would be a wrong interpretation there is no points for spouse education this year ( only Language ).. CIO check Points first before they Charge CC-DD / PER. it could be one of the cases which the visa officer only would know why he/she asked for.. anyways all the best.. god blessedvrfn said:I don't know if someone recieved similar request..But it seems they are trying to calculate points considering your wife's education and make you reach 67, which might be the reason for such a request. my little wish said:Hi All,
I've just received an email from VO asking for additional document, they asked for my spouse's university transcripts and degree.
Does anybody here received similar request?
FYI, my appl filed 23Sep2013, PER received 17Dec2013, AOR received 12Feb2014, VO: Singapore.
Thank you in advance for your comments.
No brother Doc checklist did not mentioned any word to submit spouse's doc. I also did the same...edvrfn said:First sorry for adressing you husband as your wife.
As you mentioned you didn't send docs earlier is a valid reason for asking them now, as partners education is of significance in current selection criteria.
Firstly, an immigration officer's decision can be appealed in the court. But this lawyer looks fishy when he says the cap has not yet been filled. Even if you file the petition, it's going to take a lot of time for this case to get sorted out and you would have shell in a lot of bucks. I would suggest you to look for other nomination immigrant programs.aidin444 said:Hi experts, I have a question.
My application was rejected by CIO back in August 2013 because my work experience didn't explain my duties enough so the CIO officer was not satisfied and returned it to me. I applied under NOC 2134, Chemical Engineering which has already reached the cap and filled completely.
Now, when I discussed this situation with a lawyer, he said he can still appeal and put me in because my application and work experience are genuine and the CIO officer shouldn't have rejected my application. He could have just ask me to provide more evidence at the time of interview at VO.
But my question is, whether the CIO officer's decision was harsh or not, how can this lawyer claim he can appeal when the cap is already reached? He keeps calling me to pay him CAD1000 so that he starts the job! I don't trust this lawyer. Something doesn't sound right. He also keeps saying the cap is not reached and I'm wrong.
I am totally agree with 2243Dreamer. I would suggest you to go for Nova Scotia Province Nominee Programe.2243Dreamer said:Firstly, an immigration officer's decision can be appealed in the court. Yeah me too. I would wait for the next Federal intake. When is the next one? Have they announced? I haven't been here for a long time after being deeply depressed for months2243Dreamer said:Firstly, an immigration officer's decision can be appealed in the court. I checked already. They don't want chemical or biotechnical engineers.Aimer Le Canada said:I am totally agree with 2243Dreamer. I would suggest you to go for Nova Scotia Province Nominee Programe.
