Dear All

I lived in UK for one year (2011) and currently I am in Pakistan.I have not submitted my PCCs for UK and Pakistan. I have received PER on 11 July 2013 under NOC 2147 LVO.

Is PCC required in interview?

Should I arrange them now from UK and Pakistan now or wait for my interview call as it expire in one year?

If you are sending your initial application package to CIC, Nova Scotia, Canada. The DD should be drawn in CAD$ payable at Canada.

Right of Permanent Resident Fee is something that you pay later when you are requested by local VO in your country(India) and should be payable at New Delhi. RPRF can be paid in CAD or INR, INR is adviced as CAD will result in currency conversion charges.

Both are two separate DDs that are to be paid at two different times.

Take the DD from your own bank so it will be easy to approach them to check the status of DD encashment later.

Avoid drafts from travel companies like Thomas cook, as I have seen some applicants face some additional delay for PER.

Hope that was what you needed to know.

All the best. I wish all the luck on your side as well :)

"Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

I along with my wife and Daughter are accompanying me so it should be
Principal Applicant 550 32,450
Spouse/Partner 550 32,450
Dependant under 22 yrs 150 8,850
Right of Permanent Resident Fee Principal Applicant) 490 28,900
Right of Permanent Resident Fee Spouse 490 28,900

SO total - 131550/- INR

correct..!!!!!!!!!!!

Make arrangements for the PCCs and any other documents that you may have skipped in the application.

You may be asked for it by your VO after AOR or during interview or while you are awaiting MR. You would have less time to prepare these documents at that time. Local PCC where you reside can be kept for later, get it from other countries ASAP.

All the best :)

Wait a sec. rallabandi. I guess right now you are sending the application for the first time to CIC - Nova Scotia - correct?

If that is the case

1. You need to send ONLY the processing fee which must be included with your application.

2. You must NOT be sending RPRF at this stage (with your application) when you are sending the application to CIC, Nova Scotia. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee will be requested by the Visa Office at a later stage if your application is approved.

3. Processing fees must be in Canadian funds only

4. Total amount will be CAD 550 (PA) + CAD 550 (Spouse) + CAD 150 (per dependent under 22 yrs)

5. You may pay:
a. by certified cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the “Receiver General for Canada” or
b. with a credit card (Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®)

6. The DD for application processing fees should be in CAD $ payable at Canada. It should not be in Indian rupees.

7. If you are using credit card, make sure, the issuing bank accepts international charge, and you have sufficient credit limit. Please enter the credit card details on the form carefully (name, address, number, expiration date etc.).

I am planning to send my packet next wekk..

Dear Friend,

Please prepare a rough check list and verify the following.

1. Do I have all the forms for myself and other co-applicants as per CIC checklist.
2. Are all the forms recent versions, confirm it by looking at the year at the bottom of the form and comaring it with a newly downloaded form.
3. Are all the forms having all the required fields filled or marked N/A if applicable.
4. Are all the signatures with Dates in place.
5. Are all the addition support documents in the package (Notarised if needed_
6. Write a covering letter if you are skipping any document or sending a alternate.

Hope I did not miss any. Re run this several times till you know for sure everything is perfect.

Keep the soft copy of the forms filled and the rough checklist with you, because after you send your mind will play games making you worred about whether you missed something.

All the best :)

Sent you a PM as well. Pasted on forum for forumites in the same boat.

+1

Send CSE to NDVO with subject line VERY URGENT

Wait for their reply for 5 days.

If you don't get their reply then tell your UCI number to the panel physician and ask them to see if they can look up your IME number (Immigration medical examination number)
