Dear forum members, Does anyone has gone through police verification for New Zealand. As per CIC web link "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/new-zealand.asp" applicant should not contact New Zealand police authorities directly he/she should send "CONSENT TO DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION (NZ) Form" to the visa office which I already did. But in the latest medical request for NDVO they are asking me to provide PCC for New Zealand and when I enquire about this they have confused me further. Following is the reply from NDVO.

"As outlined in the Skilled Worker Application Kit available at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG73.asp All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) as part of the application process. Our office no longer provides request letters for PCCs therefore applicants are advised to use the above checklist as evidence of required documentation.
"

Are they suggesting me to send PCC to CIO Nova Scotia. :o :o Then what about PCC from India, should I send that to CIO also but does it make sense since my file is already at NDVO.

Hi there, PCC from NZ comes from the Ministry of Justice not the NZ police. In this case you fill out the consent to disclosure of information form and the relevant VO will contact the NZ MoJ who will in turn provide the VO with your PCC for NZ. Hope the helps. Cheers & good luck

Dear Laksmisesh,
It is a Yes if you got the request for MR, PP, PCC & RPRF from NDVO. I guess it is better and safe to get the DD made to INR 57800 as mentioned on their website.
I do NOT think that there is a Landing fee requirement for children below 18 years of age.
Hope this info helps.

Dear Husman, if I was in your place I would have left the job and come back, considering the final stage you are in, but that's me. Please consider all your options if you wanna take this advice as your personal situation is best known to you only. The logic behind this is simple, the job you are trying to cling on to will be anyway to be left behind once you get visa stamp on your passport - so any case you have to leave this job when you move to Canada. I would spend more time in Canada rather than here or anywhere so can build the foundation of the new home - by looking for jobs THERE and trying to integrate with society where my future home would be.

Though every one has personal situations, but I am really surprised when I see people getting passport stamps in Jan/Feb and plans for leaving to Canada are in several months from getting visa. My personal view is I would like to be there as soon as possible to initiate integration sooner. Please no offense to anyone, I know everyone has personal/professional matters to sort out. I am just giving my thoughts on the matter.

They sometimes don't read query properly and send content of guideline , copy past!
You need not to send Pcc to cic at all. Just send it to NDVO. If you reach timeline and don't have NZ Pcc send then proof of application of Pcc such as payment infor ext , and tell then you will submit once you receive it.
I don't see any other option, members please advise.
