This info may be useful to CCP-O applicants currently located in the US.

As you may know CPP-O does not offer courier service option to return your passport back to you. If you do not include Xpresspost (for Canada) or Xpresspost USA (for USA) CPP-O will send your passport via regular mail and will not accept responsibility for loss in transit. These envelopes are only sold in Canada and you may ask a friend to buy and send it to you.

There seem to be a way around this though. I found Xpresspost USA envelope sold at amazon.ca. Surprisingly, you can use you amazon.com account details to login into amazon.ca

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00CSXV0UG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It ships for free by snail mail but if you are prepared to buy 2 of them so that the seller uses one to ship you the other one it should come much sooner. Feel free to PM me if you need more details.

get ready for Dm guys

BFHU-- get ready for MR
and all other waiting for MR
bachu - cgrts you made yesterday for medicals.
lets pray today is our day.

i think the guys who got ppr/mr are almost through, as many people wait for medicals inspite being may applicants, reason can be only that there files are randomly picked after first documents checks for further background checks and when bc's done they will get mr,

and the one who got rprf encashed and waiting for dm's there security checks must be on which CHC usually outsource to external agencies and BC they do themselves, as reported by one of the BC's applicant as foreigners visited his/her factory.

so i write what i observe after reading on this forum.

CHC is very fast and very genuine and i salute to them , also they have many things to do and giving PR to new immigrant means a lot.
So wait is there.

I am strongly against keeping the PP's for longer time and than Dm's the passports must be asked only when check are finished.

fingers crossed guys

the ecas changes mainly at aroud 11.30 to 12.30 IST and around 14.30 pm.

Hope some thing good today for all

All the best to you buddy!! But in my case i have got this email yesterday itself so dont know when my turn will come :(

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.
