Hi guys

I have one doubt

I did not submit PCC with my initial application.
I received my PER on 7th Feb 2014.
I think for next step it will take minimum of 4 months.
If I apply now for my PCC from India,Japan and South Korea, probably with in 2 months I will get my PCCs.

But my concerns are as follows

1. As per quotes in CIC regarding PCC, "The certificate must have been issued no more than three months prior to submitting your application."
If I apply now say Feb 15th, I will get all PCCs by 15 th April. As I said earlier, the next step probably take 4-5 months, (generally VO asks PCCs along with MR)
in that case my PCC does not meet the criteria of CIC.

2.Shall I wait till VO requests PCC, then I can apply and submit it? But the problem in this case is generally VO will give time span of 60 days to submit it.
I am not sure whether 60 day time span is adequate enough to apply for PCC (japan PCC is quite time taking one) and get them and submit it to VO.

3. Shall I apply now and get them by April 2014, as soon as I get it, send to VO with cover letter explanation.

Guys throw some light on queries.

I would really appreciate you guys for continuous support.

in my opinion u should go ahead and apply for all pcc's....who said that next step would take 4-5 months.....it depends on the vo....it may take 2 months also.....so better apply now...

why there is so silence in the forum, No news regarding any DM/MR. ??? ??? ???

Its better to apply now and get the PCC..you never know how long PCC can take, mine took 4 months to get(even from passport seva kendra)...there is no harm in getting one now...when you receive PCC request then again get fresh PCC..that is what i have done...take one now just for safer side......

@gangster9rls
Its better to start the process of applying for PCCs, at least for the ones those take time. NDVO is issuing MRs, but not on a FIFO basis. Besides, with time NDVO load is going to reduce, so subsequent application need not take 4-5 months. At any rate you will at least have your PCCs in hand and submit them when NDVO asks for it, even if they are older than the stipulation. In such case if the latest PCCs are asked for, you can request for reasonable time based on your experience the first time. On a down-side, you may spend little more on PCCs and other associated formalities.

its been 61 days since MR and 57 days since PPR and RPRF.....But still waiting for DM.......Common NDVO give me the dm........

You can start applying for all PCCs....... Any PCC is valid for one
Year from date of issue...... irrespective of nation issued it....,
Besides, not older than 3 months condition is applied to initial application...... Not during the course
Of your application process....

Even when you can not provide with required PCC on end date as requested by VO..,,,,
You can still request for extension of your process by providing them with all proofs such as PCC application receipts etc..... To show them that you have initiated PCC process.....

Good luck :)

HI everyone,

could anyone please outline the process for getting PCC from India ? ??? ??? ??? and how long it takes to get one.
