Dear Who1074 !!!

Thanks for your reply..... You relieved some of my stress.... can you please confirm whether "PER" mean "Positive Eligibility Report" ?? Secondly at what stage in this process the Police Reports are required as I did not send them along with the application?? Lastly why it takes around 6-8 months for Medical request?? What generally happens during that time at the concerned Visa Office.

Thanks and Regards
PER means positive determination of eligibility, or simply positive eligibility review.
A list of all abbreviations is available at the below link that you might wana take a look.

You can send the police certificates to your visa office a couple of weeks after your PER. For that you should refer to the webpage of london VO. If you don't send PCC at your own, VO will contact you to provide these at some stage and they will then give you a month or so to comply.

Between PER and MR, the time is just because of the queue. During this time your application is sitting idle rather waiting to be reviewed by a case officer to be more specific.

Guys

I got my medical request and rprf request on 1/10... Thanks for all the guidance- quick question for those who already went through the medical request process - are the following the only documents needed -

1) completed medical exam form IMM 1017E
2) passport
3) four recent pictures

Are these all the items I need to bring to the test?

Thanks again and good luck to everyone

Congrats, sent you a PM

Good morning,

Sorry to bother you guys, but can someone point me in the right direction to the list of items that must be included in the job reference letters?

I am reading the NOC and the "instruction guide" found in the package anyway, but it would be cool to get some pointers from someone with more experience. (I read a few posts back something about a "General Application guide")

And all the luck in the world to all of you, I keep track of this thread although I did not manage to apply in time.

Hi Friends,

Can you advice me what are the other options for the people missed out 2013 FSW program?

Is there any other immigration program accepting software programmers?

Thanks in advance.

Ba Jay, i got the UCI after calling CIC and requesting information on my application. Never previously applied.

Nanonye, how did you get your UCI number? Have you previously applied to Canada?

Thank you guys for responding. As I have a post graduate work permit, I figured I can apply for FSW under arranged employment. I don't want to apply for PNP because I live and work in Toronto. If FSW doesn't work out I will consider applying for CEC. Thanks for all your advise.

Hey Priya,

Thank you for the reply.

I just spoke with CIC people and that's exactly what they said, that re-apply with corrected information and they'll treat it as a new application and process it from scratch.

However, my question is for the job duties, can i put exact the same thing under NOC or we need to re-phrase it and stuff too ? Not sure how to write the job description. Please advise.

Thanks
CL

You should try to put almost all the points from the NOC and rephrase it. Make sure all the points in your checklist is covered.
