Dear members
Does any body know whether London VO ask for POF with MR. I can observe in the forum that NDVO is asking for POF for very few applicant. Any input?Regards

They may or may not ask for POF depending on case to case basis.

Thanks pharmacistfarhan, however this was my 2nd email to them, anyhow I will send the ECAS in mid-Jan as well but wish to hear from them without sending the ECAS again :) Lets see, BTW quick thing have you applied thru yourself or lawyer since I have a lawyer in my case

Yeah this is sort of generic reply, I also got same type of generic reply few months back when I inquired in early Oct - but when I sent them 2nd CSE on Dec 04, LVO replied me the same precise answer what they replied to Jiggzy.... I suggest you to lodge another CSE in mid Jan, you will definitely have their precise answer.
Even in my case, they are saying that file is with an immigration officer for review.......and the review process will be ended up in early part of 2014..you can see my time-lines here, which indicates that LVO has just started assigning the early batch files to their officers..so in another 20 / 25 days lot more files would have been assigned to immigration officers...and this will be continued..

Bro it's very likely that you will be asked to provide POF by LVO, normally a three months (preferably six months) bank statement will suffice. You will also be asked to submit fresh PCC's if the previous ones are more than one year old. Hope it helps

Thanks Saleem7821 for your reply. It will be incredibly difficult for me to notarize these documents and still make the quota as I am not living in my country of origin, as such some of the documents I'm using were scanned to me by those I requested them from.

Please if there is anyone in here who didn't notarize theirs and still got a PER please drop a line for me. Thanks.

I'm not an authority on this issue but I did not notarize my documents as they are in English

Hi Ije,
Hopefulval seems to be a good example if she has already got the PER without notarized documents. If you have all the documents in English then it might work for you as well (but that again a point of luck, if your case worker/immigration officer accepts).
If there is any translated copy then it is highly advisable to get the docs notarized.
Well, in my case, I notarised all the docs even if that is just the photo copy of the original english version.

NDVO has stopped sending MR to 1112 candidates , all of us are May applicant & they have shifted even to July applicant....

Very very tough to wait , no clarity ,no timeline is following ...completely blank what to do..

very anxious & tensed , to wait at edge.....

May GOD give us courage to wait for golden mail

Dear, I am in the same boat. I think our immigration Officer already went for a long X-Mas Holidays.

Hope He would rejoin with a happy mood.

Hey Guys,

Need a little guidance here. I have received my PER and now waiting for the MR. I have to apply for a new passport (as the previous one ran out of pages). So when I get a new one, do i need to notify my VO (LVO) or is it not necessary? (just submit the new passport along with the old one when i get the PPR). If I need to inform the VO now, is email the best option for it?

Would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks

I recommend to send certified true copies of all documents which are photocopies of originals (even originals are in English or French) to negate any chance of rejection at CIO or to avoid any delay in Visa Office.

dear i did attestation of my all documents and sent to CIO. yes from forum i also got the same info. you need to notarize only translated documents.
but i have seen mostly members sent the documents after attestation.
gud luck

Sorry to sound so excited even though it is but a little milestone achieved in this forum but great for me!

This has been the most worrisome aspect for me in this application process because of the peculiar circumstances surrounding my payment option. You see, I had sent my payment form with my credit card details along with my whole application package. A few days later, I discovered to my utmost dismay that I could no longer use my card! I went into panic but started researching online what to do. Eventually, I sent another payment form with different credit card details with as much info as I could muster in the covering note to enable them locate my original package. I have kept my fingers crossed all this while not knowing what my fate will eventually be.

Today, 51 days after initial application package was received and signed for by Mike, I am happy to announce to you all that to the glory of God my credit card has been debited! I humbly request an update of the spreadsheet on my behalf. I hope this is a sign of better things to come for us all.

Thank you Jesus!

Congrats...

I am very excited with this

I want everybody's suggestion As i submitted my documents for NOC 3212 on 11 th December then i came to know that in generic form question number- 4, in which i had wrote India instead of NDVO

My understanding from "document checklist" and "Guide" is,

1) For documents not in english or french it is a must to have thing. Both the translation aswell as the copy of original must be notarized. This can even result in rejection or delay at some stage.
2) For all other documents, It is good to have them notarized. If it is not costing you much, go for it. If you dont notarize, for sure, application will not be rejected and I dont foresee a delay either.
3) PCC, if not in english or french, requirements are much more stringent. Application guide has the details.
