I need one clarification.
Can I apply with "Software Engineer" or "Lead Engineer"designation if Computer Engineers occupation will reopen?
As I mentioned earlier that my occupation was Software Engineer and after promotion it is now "Lead Engineer"

You can apply with any designation but you have to perform the duties and responsibilities in your job as prescribed in that particular NOC under which you planning to apply.

Hi guys

I had mentioned method of payment was credit card in my application and input the details lile cc number expiry and cvv . My bank has issued a new chip based credit card with same old number however the expire date and cvv number are different on the new card.The problem arises with the fact that my bank has deactivated my old card when they issued the new one ???


Will this effect my application or hinder cic from debiting my cc if yes then what are my options? i hqve received no acknowledgement from cic till date and my package hasnt returned


please advise

I understand your NOC is 1112. Cap got filled in last week of May so your application will be returned.
if your NOC is not 1112 you can send the updated fee payment form with a cover letter. In cover letter provide complete details of your original application, your date of birth, passport number etc. Also include the courier reference number.

Don't worry, as your data shows and as per my understanding:
You received your Medical and you already paid your RPRF and submitted PCC in stipulated period given by CPP-O then "Decision Made" is certainly a Good sign that they are ready to stamp the Visa and Application is finalized.

You will soon get your VISA. Congrats

Further, it would be always wise to inquire about the PPR to CPP-O as CPP-O can only deliver you with the final answers of your question.

Thats encouraging to know but I don't think this forum has a precedence where an applicant got a decision made update before the Passport request and that makes me apprehensive about the whole thing.

You can apply based on the NOC code in which you have work experience in one of the eligible occupations as noted by CIC when they reopen FSWP. For example if Software Engineer is in their eligible occupation, you can apply as Software Engineer and so forth. You will also need to make sure in whichever eligible occupation you are applying, the job duties shall be similar to the job duties in the eligible occupation NOC code.

So I don't think you should worry about anything. Wait for 1-2 working days and you will certainly receive PPR.

ECAS is showing 3 rd line added :Medical results have been received.

Hi..Congrats to all with Medical Request and PR's and All the best for those waiting.

I need some advice, my consultant is not providing courier tracking for my application. Is asking me to take legal action if I want. He says CIO will take 10 months to update on application and they will receive UCI by then. His earlier mail stated my application was delivered in June however no charge on my cc nor he says he received the app back. Now the question is where is my application. Plz advice

Anyone from UAE who knows any lawyer or who can advice me in this regard how to take my consultant to task?
