My status has changed to "Decision Made".

Now I am wondering what happens next?

I was under the impression that folks get their PPR first b4 "decision made" status is updated from "in process" OR am I missing something here.

With just "finger-countable" applications left for October & November...... and to add insult to injury this "background check" fiasco is adding no respite to people waiting for ther CCs being charged.....I applied for NOC 2134 wherein showcasing work exp. from April 2010-May 2011.....with a small company , I wonder what would be outcome if my application falls under this "Background check". Which I am sure the officials would be having tough time searching my company as that is in quite sub-urbs from the main city!!! ;D ;D ;D

Whats the basis of this background check, is it random?? As I can see ther are only few people whose background check happened.

It seems that you have not yet received AOR. So the background check is not yet happening for your case (If its actually happening for now). And you don't need to worry regarding the background check as long as your company is registered official one and you meet the job description ( No matter how small your company is or how remotely it is based). They have not mentioned regarding the size of the company nor the location to be in the city.
So I suggest you to relax and wait patiently.
Good Luck ;)

Pee_Kay_high....did you also get RPRF request with MR or after MR or any at all?

I think you might probably be receiving passport request within 1-3 days.
Good Luck :D :D

OK ...Did your doctor give any indication of anything wrong on your medical? If not then is may just be that they have jumped the gun...CPP-O is not Visa exempt, so unless you are a citizen of a visa exempt country and living in North America you should get your PPR soon.

I have taken care of PCC, MR and RPRF requests last month. All requests came together.

The Doctor gave us a "go". So there should not be a problem with the MR report.

Again, is it possible for a decision to be made before the PPR request considering I am not from a visa exempt country.

Alright, so if the Cap is reached, may be they open the same NOC categories next year (who knows?), but if they do, you should be prepared and ready to apply next year.

For that send your Bachelor and your Masters (if you have) degree documents to WES as requested by them, so you have your credential assessment done.

Second you will need to take IELTS exam and get enough score to make you eligible to apply.

Then you can wait for CIC to open up their NOCs.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help...
I need one clarification.
Can I apply with "Software Engineer" or "Lead Engineer"designation if Computer Engineers occupation will reopen?
As I mentioned earlier that my occupation was Software Engineer and after promotion it is now "Lead Engineer"
