Hi all

My husband who is the principal applicant too had office verification by the immigration officers (all 3 foreigners). They had drilled the HR Manager of his company for atleast 20 minutes.

They had verified the following

1. Is the person on the photograph of the application, the actual applicant.
2. Is the applicant actually on the payrolls of the company.
3. How long is the applicant working in the company
4. Is the applicants roles and responsibilities mentioned on letter is all correct and true, and is actually performed by the applicant on a day to day basis, point by point!!!!!
5. The document(roles and resp sheet) was signed and sealed by the HR manager, they ahd verified was he the one who had signed the doc and was that his signature and seal on the document!!
6. Overall conduct and representation of the individual was also verified.

My husband works n Bangalore.

I have valid us visa till dec 31st 2014 and I believe I need to move to Canada before September 2014 (my medical date I believe).

Is it possible that I visit Canada for a week and apply for PR and other necessary documents and come back to US? My sister lives in Toronto so I can give her address for document submission.

Any suggestion?

NDVO officers are publicly disclosing that we have applied for PR... to Peons , security person, HR ,Boss.... this will create an issue latter on. some time these people may not liked to be grilled , so sake of us .. specially in an unplanned way..

laksmisesh-Please clarify since how long ,your husband is working in present company.


And seniors , as per immigration requirement, one must have a min. 1 year exp in his resp. NOC to qualify ... & in case applicant has changed his current profession ,then where logically NDVO officer should visit, my current workplace or pervious company for which i have cliam the points ..Plz clarify

Hi to all senior members and admins I jst want to get some perception regarding ielts, my application reached at CIO on 5th of nov and the ielts result which I sent was valid till 16th of nov so the question is are they gonna consider my ielts as it was valid whn CIO receivd it. and its also mentioned on their website under language requirements.. plzzz reply

Guys I just wanted to make a point here that IELTS validity is considered from the date of the test and not the date on which TRF was issued. I hope Shweta took the reading, writing and listening modules on 17th Nov 2011.

I dont actually understand whats your question is exactly. According to your profile information you happened to already have got MR..right??
Or do you mean DM?? If you mean DM after sending your Medical request is not specific but according to the trends been seen on past applicant, it might take 1 to 3 months.

Yes you can definitely do what you wish to do. You don't need to stay there by yourself. A valid address within Canada can work to get your PR card.
