Dear All,

I am an FSW Applicant. I applied in October 2011, got an interview Call at NEW DELHI VO on March 18 , 2013. Interview went for around 3 hours. Category was Insurance.

Now since 17th Dec 2013, the status is being shown DECISION MADE. I have not got any MR or PPR till now. Kindly suggest what could be interpreted. Thanks in Advance.

I think decision made before issuing PPR is not a good sign. However please ask the opinion of seniors...

Dear Ram,

I could not find the appropriate source of information regarding 250 caps.
Could you please provide me the links where it is mentioned?

Only 250 Applications to be accepted
Same set of documentation to be scanned and uploaded online
Forms and other details not yet available
Pros - Another avenue opens up for all the failed applications here.
Cons - the usual. Have to land there and stay for 2 years

They asked about my Job, qualifications, experience and evrything else that they could related to my application.
One of my friends also got the MR and PP request after the decision made.

I am lil tensed.. guys please give ur inputs..

A DM without a request for MR/PPR is bad sign. Please go through the definition of Decision Made

Hi friends,

Congratualtions to all who has got med req., RPRF, PCC requ, PP req from NDVO.

I have also received Med requ., PCC requ, RPRF requ and Passport requ.

I would like to ask following things to forum member,

After doing medicals, am I suppose to post the signed form IME1017 by designated medical practitioner to NDVO.

What about returning of stamped passport ? means, Do I need to provide them a envelop, etc.... ? What must be included as a arrangement for Passport ?

The rate for RPRF have been changed on 6th December 2013. Earlier I made demand draft for 31400 INR per applicant who is above 22 years age in my application. My question is, How to mitigate this float fee scenario ? My bank is saying if I make demand draft in Candian dollar it will be encashed only in Canada, so I have to go for INR demand draft only.

PCCs I am suppose to provide original for asked countries...

One more thing, apart from this forum, we can build a yahoogroup which would help us to be in contact when we will be in Canada....

I appreciate your reply,

Regards,

Dear moderator, I request kindly change my status from dark blue to brown as i have received PP req also with medical request.

Congrats manonquest. Happy for you. :)

iktheone.. really waiting for news from ur end... All the best to you and other ppl waiting for their MRs, AORs, PPRs and DMs etc etc etc

Hey JMD, have you got any letter regarding your decision made in email or hard copy. If not than pls send CSE to them regarding approve or reject status of your file.

It was very difficult to understand what you are trying to say with SMS language. No hard feelings but it is really very annoying.
oops... i am really sorry for that.
i meant... only after background check(if any) your application will be processed further...
but i have read somewhere that even after medicals, PPR they can perform BC to cross verify just as they do in terms of bank statements...

Dear Forum Members,

It is advised by CIO to report change of job to local visa office immediately. I am 100% sure that they will only visit the current employer. Therefore it is important to report to local visa office as soon as any applicant changes his/her job. If someone doesn't report and their is personal visit or telephonic call to current employer, it will be a big question mark on the success of PR visa. As far as, previous employer are concerned, I don't think so they will visit personally, just a telephonic call would be enough. But if someone didn't state clearly in the application that his/her previous employer, has been shut down and background check happened, then it will be considered misrepresentation and most probably, PR application will be rejected.

Good luck to everyone on background checks.
