Does your e-cas show the status as Passport received on 11th Dec 2013. Please confirm, as I sent them on the same day and they reached NDVO the next day.

I did my medicals on the 7th at Pancheel in delhi. They confirmed today that they have sent the reports last evening. how long does it usually take to update in the ecas. i am requesting for a revert from those people who have done their medicals at max panscheel. I am also despatching my passports today. Rest lets hope for the best.

kkk and wht if I will not deposit money in my account as I dnt hv money to deposit and the balance remains the same .....the thng is cic wants 11000 dollars as settlemet funds and I still got 17000 so I thnk tht wuldnt effect my application though I showed 18000 cad initially....

Good to hear that ur frnd got MR...but what actually is going on is really annoying and ridiculous...what they r doing with May files... ...background chks....even then these many background chks at a time... ...how much filter they want to do....after all these things they wont consider our eduction and not even guarantee a nice job there.... ....day by day spirits r going down and down.. :'( :'( :'(

Dea Shweta,

You can withdraw amount, it is totally OK.

Just to satisfy you, your bank won't disclose any information related to your account to anyone else. If NDVO wants to confirm fund with your bank, they have to tell the bank that Shweta has provided bank statement/certificate and she was having CAD 18,000 (exact amount to the last decimal) on this date, then bank will confirm, yes it is true. Bank won't disclose itself that what was the balance on dates which are not available on your bank statement. Even NDVO won't know what was the balance on the next day of the closing date.

You just need to be careful if NDVO asked to resubmit the prrof of funds. You have to deposit back the amount and must show minimum amount required in your closing balance. You must also be prepared to answer their question if they ask why the money was withdrawn and depsoited.

I suggest you not withdraw more money than below your settlement fund. It will affect your visa processing if suppose NDVO ask you to submit the bank statement again. My consultant advised me the same so that I didnt touched that money. Becoz sbank statement will have the transaction details. If you withdraw and refill the account only at the time when they ask. They will be under the impression that you borrowed the money. THis is not permitted..

If you withdraw CAD 7,000 maximum but keeping CAD 11,000, you really don't need to deposit any penny back. But if you withdraw more and your banalce is less than CAD 11,000, you have to deposit back only if NDVO asks you to resubmit the proof of funds.

If it helps reducing your stress then i have around 5 % left of what i showed at the time of admission because i used a business account... in case they do ask for funds then i would have to re stuff the funds back into that account within the 60 day period they provide. but then as far as we know very few people have been asked about POF at the time of MR. one consultant even told me that in FSW13 the process is very different than last time and majority of the work is being done by CIC... and that local visa offices have a rather small role to play.
