When I inquired about my application status I received a mail from CIC as below

What does this mean? As the CAP is filled and I am expecting my file is returning back to me. Is there any chance?

but wat if the value of cad appreciates on the day the visa office encashes the DD....suppose when you made the DD in INR the value of CAD was 58 and after 1 month when the DD is being encashed by NDVO, the value of CAD is 60-62...then your DD amount will fall short and in all probability it would be returned...and if course if the CAD depreciates to say about 53-50 then we would incur a loss.... so it is always advisable to purchase CAD and make your DD in CAD...So we dont have to worry about the erratic movements in the currency market...

Dear Dhanoa9015 and friends,

NDVO has fixed INR 28900 for RPRF payment for now. This amount is fixed by them and could be considered as fees. There is no point in considering the requirement of exchange rate here. In CAD, it is 490 and CIC keeps changing this INR figure at regular interval based on the change in forex rate. So if you want to pay this fees in INR, you just have to check the amount on CIC web site on the day you are preparing DD.

NDVO and CIC knows it whenever they change the amount and since your DD date is always referred with the amount printed on CIC web page, there are no chances of any shortage or forex rate change.

And since this DD will be encashed in local visa office it is fine.

So i feel, INR or CAD both will be fine if you check the web page on that day when you make DD.

Hi Allspark, Let me correct you here. It is 57,800 not 58,900.
28,900 x 2 = 57,800

Very surprising!!! PER mails are lagging behind the CC/DD charge by more than 1 month. Last CC/DD charged was 21st Oct while last PER was around 20th Sep???

No one updated after oct 21st CC charge...

I have an very important info to be shared to all of the members. Yesterday I shared this to the watsup group. Members from NDVO came to my husband's office (who is the main applicant) for personal visit and had spoke to his boss who was the reference person and also one on one with my husband for about half an hour.

Just keeping fingers crossed and hoping for the best...Rest left to God!!!

How to get experience letter with job duties from the company which is refusing/reluctant to give it?

Hey Bruce u have to write a letter in a stamp paper from your manager/lead saying that the company doesn't authorize and provide experience letter and that you are genuinely working for XXXX company for XXXX years and XXXX are your roles and responsibilities and that the company is paying XXXX to you. You are a very hard working, talented etc...etc... and signature by your manager/lead. And get the stamp paper notarized by a notary.

you just require a copy of your passport and a request letter from ndvo...nothing else....dd will be made within a day...

thats really surprising.... so cic even does physical background checks. the people who came, r they from NDVO or any other third party?

I am Dipesh Virani and i have applied for 1112 category FSW visa, i would like to know what is your status for visa applied. Please advise me if what i can do as well. So please advise me . how can i get information on my application, i am desperately waiting for my visa status.

I have applied under 1112 (Financial Analyst Category) and sent my complete application to CIO office on 19th August,13 which was received by Dextor on 26th August as per DHL tracking details and the cap size got full on 23rd August as per Y-axis update on monthly mailer, but unfortunately i have not received any acknowledgment from CIO or CIC.
