Hi every one,
I applied on the 12th of October 2013 under (3217) “Cardiology technologists ...”. My concern is if I am late, knowing that under this occupation only 24 applications were received by 9-12-2013.
one more question: any estimated time between the day you apply and that on which your application is reviewed?

Many thanks and Regards

Don't worry you will get through. What is your mode of payment? CC or DD? Already October 15th applicant CC charged by CIC....

Hello all,

Medical request received with payment of fees and submission of passport on dec 4th.
The end date is by 18th jan 2014.

But my wife is 4 months pregnant. The baby is expected by 22nd may 2014.

I checked with my consultant and he said to raise a case specific query.

So I have raised a case specific query to extend the medicals by june end.

Waiting for the reply from NDVO. In case they dont turn up fast , I will go ahead with the medicals without the chest xray of my wife.

Any further suggestions on case are welcome.

All the best for every one.

Hi when you go to medicals they will any ways will know your wife is pregnant and they will report the same in your medicals to the high commission.

Secondly, when they do medicals to ladies just as a precaution they do X-ray of chest with Double Lead (to protect the fetus if the lady is pregnant and she might not know abt it)

But in your case she is already 4 month pregnant i don't think in the first place they would do a X-ray. Its better to discuss once with the medical center whether they would do it.

Let the storm of MRs begins from NDVO :D ;) :) :) :) :) :) :) ;) ;) ;) ;) :D :D :D
Members, be ready for the action.

Yes NDVO we are expecting the storm

I am in deep confusion regarding " Legal document for name change"

My wife maiden Family name is "Yendoti", after our marriage her family name changed as "Gumma"

Accordingly, we took marriage certificate and there after applied for passport and got the passport with Family name " Gumma"

To be concise, my marriage certificate and her passport contains my family name"Gumma"

Now my confusion is , these documents can be used for Legal document for name change i mean Family name change.

I am deseperatlely in need of help for the above question

Dear Member,
Thanks and duly updated (by my fellow admins) on global tracker.

Dear gangster,

Well, it is common, in asian countries at least, that ladies change their family name after marriage. Same is the case with my wife too. But I feel that you have made a mistake in your marriage certificate, I might be wrong. I believe that female should have printed their pre-marriage name on the marriage certificate. The reason is that the family name is changed after marriage when female signs on the marriage certificate, such as your wife signed the marriage certificate as Yendoti but not as Gumma. Then after marriage, if female changes the family name, it must be reflected on all those official documents which normally have expiry date such as National ID cards, passports, driving license etc.

You could submit her birth certificate, diplomas/degrees certificate obtained before marriage, marriage certificate (in your case, marriage certificate carrys her post-marriage name not pre-marriage) as a proof of pre-marriage name while National ID card, passports, driving license issued after marriage as a proof of post-marriage name along with a letter giving explanation of the family name change. That's what I did.

Since this is a change in family name ONLY for a valid reason, it is not required to take any specific legal document from Government or announcing in the newspaper etc., above mentioned documents along with an explanation letter should be more than enough to prove the case.

It really doesn't matter, as Passport of your wife has your surname, and if this is accompanied by Marriage certificate it's fine.

Marriage certificate is itself a document which states that the Ladies name is changed/or will be changed after marriage.

secondly, in your wife's passport will have Husbands name, And your wife's father name and Mother's name.So it is understood and there by legal. So don't worry.
