According to the United Nations, a child born in-flight is considered to have been born in the country where the airline is registered. Birth certificates of babies born on flights heading out of a specific country will probably be lodged in that country's public records (rather than in the records of the destination countries). Many countries grant automatic citizenship to any babies born on their airlines; this may result in a baby having dual citizenship.

hello everyone

I am in deep confusion regarding " Legal document for name change"

My wife maiden Family name is "Yendoti", after our marriage her family name changed as "Gumma"

Accordingly, we took marriage certificate and there after applied for passport and got the passport with Family name " Gumma"

To be concise, my marriage certificate and her passport contains my family name"Gumma"

Now my confusion is , these documents can be used for Legal document for name change i mean Family name change.

I am deseperatlely in need of help for the above question

I will rephrase so that you know what I have understood.

Before marriage your wife was ABC Yendoti. Hence, her birth certificate, school certificate and degree certificate will obviously carry that name which is ABC Yendoti.

After marriage your wife's name is ABC Gumma. Marriage certificate and Passport contains her name as ABC Gumma.

And coming to your confusion; Can you use Birth certificate, School certificate, degree certificate with Marriage certificate and Passport for name change?

The answer is obvious YES. For this purpose you cannot use things like chainsaw or hammer.
You must use the above mentioned documents to get a legal name change. Thereby you will have a document that will link ABC Yendoti to ABC Gumma.

CC have been charged till 15th Oct 2013 applicants, but PER's have been sent only till 20th Sep 2013 applicants, and in that too there are applicants whose CC/DD charged but no PER.

October 15th applicant was charged yesterday. Don't worry you will make it....

As I have made DD payment & my bank told me they will not send any notification about DD payment, so me to eagerly waiting for mail from CIC

Although they don't send any notification for clearance of the DD but you can call the person who made your DD in the bank. They can check it for you and update you...

As per CIC mail it was debited on 1st Dec., 2013 and as per my banker it was debited on 4th Dec., 2013

Minor date error is not an issue as long as you have reserved your seat for the PR.... So congrats

Hi mates,

Need some urgent help from 2131 Civil engineer's

can somebody send me his/her reference letter with job duties as I am trying to get one from my past employer.

I have already applied on 30 July and it is within cap, but processing is being delayed because of not providing reference letter, so they need to review other supporting docs to extract required information

But I think what ever number they showing in the CIC website included the fee deducted applicants also.
