Mates ... I want some info...as we are waiting for MR, I want to know that all applicants including kids have to undergo Medical ? Pls guide as i m having 2 kids aged 8 yrs and 2 yrs.

Re: ECAS after Medicals

It is highly unpredictable...but usually it is about 3-4 weeks. I am following another thread where people are waiting since one year to get their passport back....& on the same thread there are few who received their passport back in couple of weeks. so its not certain. My passport reached NDVO on 21st Nov & my Ecas shows medical received line. Lets see now how it goes. If you already submitted ur passport, you should apply for CAIPS report which would tell you status of your application. I should be receiving my report in day or two. Will update you afterwards.

After sending Medical forms, DD & Passports to NDVO does any one have the idea of waiting times for FSW 2013 APPLICANTS

What is the waiting time of ECAS update after sending the medical reports by Hospital to Embassy / CIC

WAITING TIME after sending the Passports seems the biggest killer, Many forum members are saying that they havent heard any thing even after an year of sending the passports my worry is getting tripled after sending the passports.

Forum Members (Who completed Medicals/ send the passports / who got the VISA) please share you experience / timeline after the medicals Plz plz plz........... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I will be able to answer this question tomorrow as my family including wife and 6 year old daughter will also undergo medicals.
BTW while booking for appointment, I was asked to get vaccination and immunization history of my lil angel.

Kids between 0-5 years old are doing a general med check (visual check, questions about their health - no urine or blood sampling, no x-rays)
Kids between 5-12 years old are giving blood and urine for cheking, but are NOT taking x-ray checking
Kinds over 12 years old are doing all medical exams, like the adults (blood, urine sampling and x-rays).

Boss dont worry. Your payment method is DD and you can never be sure if it has been cashed. Ewy2012 is Sep 5th applicant and got PER today. Insha Allah you will get it as well. No one in spreadsheet who applied after you got any news so far. I feel it is a bit early to be this much worried. Relax, you will share the good news in next couple of weeks. Best of luck.

Hi Guys, I'm back after spending a break at the foothill of Himalayas. And I see and feel the wave of happiness already running through, although some of you deserving fellas still wait for their MR email. You'll get your good news soon.

Some update to share;
Did my medicals on 5-Dec before moving out of station on 6-Dec.
6-Dec arrived in Dehradoon at 11:50. 11:44 got the news of birth of a baby girl (second child) to my sister in Delhi.
Now busy completing rest of the formalities as requested by CHC, ND. Hopefully, will complete all documentation by coming Saturday.

I'm so happy after all this. Wish all of you best-ests of luck !!

If you email or call them the only thing they will confirm is that if it has been posted to you or not. They use regular mail with no tracking what so ever. The only way out is to wait for another couple of weeks. It will hopefully get to you.

Went to HDFC bank today (Safdarjung Development Area Branch) which has all the international transaction instruments to get a DD made for CAD 980 for RPRF. Hell lot of formalities and forms to fill plus submit CHC request letter, a cheque, ID proof, this-n-that and yet conversion charges are so high...........backed-off. Finally decided I'll get the DD made for INR seeing that it has come down from 31,400 to 28,900 on 6-Dec as well as you just need to fill a simple form.
