hello brothers/sisters... Today (2 hrs back) i receive my package back from CIC. They issued rejection letter on 24th Sep and i receive here today.

However in my rejection letter they mentioned 2 points.

1. I did not mentioned my "VISA office name" in Generic Form (Valid :( )
2. "Additional Family information" Form need to submit. (Not Valid, as i found my form inside the pack)

Admins/members thanks a lot for being supportive all the time. All the best Guyzzz....

Hello Members,

If the process will be this much fast till the end or they will stop after a target is reached.

So sad to hear this. U r probably from Bangladesh brother isnt it? So ur VO should have been Singapore.

its a mandatory information to provide along with Generic Application form. After that CIC does not look after carefully other forms. in ur case that was happened (about the additional family info )

Dont worry bro..God has kept some mystery for u for ur future carrer.. :D

Yes ashif_eee, I am from Bangladesh. Actually i did this mistake in the very first place, and i also shared with this forum.. Some of the fourumist advised to returnback my package to rectify but I did not as by that time i was already late (My application reached on 4th July).

Anyway if I had returnback my package still i was out of game, as CIC only took upto 10th July Applicant. Have a safe journey brother...

$550 is the fee paid at the time of application and $490 is RPRF fee.

It's clearly written at site http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx

Payment of Fees
Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

hello Amit,

One question.
I am not sure if I should make a DD for my 6 year old daughter. The link you quoted states the following:
RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee for you & your Spouse

but it makes no mention about children.
What do you say?

Children are not payin' anything, only you and your spouse.... ;)
It's a general rule, no matter of the applicant's country of origin....

The next NOC update is going to give me a heart attack :-X :o ??? :-[

Hi sinestra, check below link where it is categorically written that-->
Dependent children are exempt from paying the right of Permanent Residence fee.

Many thanks islandbabe.. I took a trip down the memory lane and remember the first time I saw your post and I now wonder what would we be without this platform; blind, frustrated and completely ignorant about our application and various aspects of immigration.
And now look where I am. Hell!! now I think I can be a consultant.
None of us know each other personally but the bond that has been created by exchanging thoughts and ideas is just so sweet that I don't think I will ever forget how helpful strangers can get. The thought that the place I am going to will also be your homeland is just so comforting that all my apprehensions that I initially had is greatly reduced.

I thank you and everyone in the forum for their help and support!! You Rock!!

Yes very true.... +1 for this....

It's has been a good week. I was notified on friday my process was completed. Visas have been issued for me and my wife. ECAS also has been updated to "decision made". (please update spreadsheet whenever possible)

I guess it's the end of a chapter and beginning of a bright new one.

Admins: Thanks for the wonderful selfless job done in this forum. Thumbs up!

All: Stay positive and keep the forum alive.

See you all in Canada, eh!
