All fellow Indians expecting MR in the next few weeks, get your PCC ready as the appointment for passports older than 2 years can take time.

My wife's passport was issued on 19/06/2009 and when I enrolled for PCC at PSK Bangalore, she gets an appointment date of 18th December 2013.
Whereas, I got an appointment for tomorrow. (My passport was issued/renewed on 14th December 2012)

ITGuy_del's message shows us that we don't have much time. So guys, pull up your jocks and socks and get going. :)

That's right. Similar experience I had where my wife's PCC is delayed but I got on time. Only difference being my passport is less than 2 years old. So looks like guys (NDVO) with Passport older than 2 years should get working on PCC right now even before MR call.

Guys I have something new to share...

Today I received an email from DELHIIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca

I have been ask to submit my MARRIAGE PHOTOS within 45 days..

No Change in ECAS..

My timeline is given on left side..

We should try to minimise any possible doubt case in our application. We had not got my wife's last name changed after marriage, as her passport was already there and it was hassle to change all docs. So, we supported our application by providing marriage pics, just in case visa officer doubted different last names. This was in addition to a proper marriage certificate from registrar office. Few cents..

Hi RTJ,

Many many congrats to u for ur MR. ;) ;).Can u plz tell at what time exactly u received the mail on which day, today is 30th and 11:32 a.m. in India. Becos those who got MR recently r mentioning early morning times, 2.56, 3 a.m., etc. Is NDVO working night times??? or what is actually happening is somewhat confusing.

Plz shed some light guys, :D ;D

The emails must be going out from system in a batch way. This might explain the odd times of email delivery.

Hi

Does anyone know how they send documents from Sydney NS to the ;local VO? Do they use snail mail as well? How long does it usually take?
Thanks a bunch :)

Hi All
I am Physio who sent application on 23 Sept and out of the race now. I lost this time because of my agency who took a lot of time to process and send. It is so aching to see that there will be no possibility of having a FSWP in 2014 as the CIC website doesn't talk about it. Also from 2015 the processing will be different. Any chances to get in it and the documents I should keep ready for it? Plz share.

hello P3142 i dont know why u considering yourself out of race so early..i know cap has reached but it happened very very speedily so be patience for another 2 weeks to know the clear picture ,as i have read somewhere few got PER after the cap has reached ..so hope for best and wait till 20 DEC

All my friends who are waiting for MR and the ones who already got MR, if you have any dental issues, get yourself treated in your home land as most of the medical insurance policies in Canada does not cover dental and it costs a bomb if you were to visit a dentist.

Hey sinestra. How's u doing mate?

That post for PCC can't be edited. If I understand correctly, in today's scenario, we still do not need an appointment although the web portal provides a prompt to register for an appointment, right?

And yes, there is a green color stamp with file number, date and country for which PCC is applied although I never mentioned that part.

Hiya mate,

I am good, would be better if I get an MR.

The web portal just registers an appointment. No choice given to us.

I was skeptical of them issuing token to my wife. I thought that her application would be rejected and she would be asked to come over at the scheduled date.
None of that happened. Instead they rejected my wife's application stating that walk-in is not permitted on Saturday.

And I love the collaboration of Private (TCS) and Govt. employees in PSK. The whole system is so efficient now. :)

guys help needed. (asking this question on behalf of my friend)

my maternal uncles (MAMA) daughter is citizen in canada.

Should i get points for relative in canada?

i m confused. without considering poins for relatives in canada i scored 68 points

if i show points for relative in canada will it have any impact on my application.

You cant claim points for cousins. If you are sure you have 68 points then why wait for anything else?

Hi everyone
Can someone please tell me how long does it take to return the applications which reached after the the cap was reached.
My noc is 3142. My application reached a day after the cap was reached. :( :(
I am not sure if I would be able to apply next year because of some family problems.
So I am anxious to get my application fee refunded. Please reply.....

Hi GUYS

Can anybody help me in understanding the recent update

a) For the cap for 2174 there is no footnote 2 ?
does it meant that they do not want to accept people with the job offer ? :'(

b) will there be any FSW 2014 or only 2015 ? :-\

c) How would they conduct for FSW 2015 with EOR ?

Islandbabe... or any experienced guy .. could you answer ?

Thanks

Hey Guys,

I need a clarity on a thing.

I accidentally missed in indicating my 10-day trip to UK early this year in the Travel History Form. Of course, the assessing officer will come to know about my visit through the entry/exit stamps on my passport. But I wanted to know will this be a reason for any form of rejection, or will NDVO request me for any clarifications? Its been bothering my mind, ever since I realized this blunder.

Request you thoughts on this. !!
Thanks.

As u have received PER from CIC, your file is not gonna rejected directly witgout asking any clarification or revised Travel form from NDVO. So hopefully u need not to be worried about this issue... :)
