Thanks for your reply :)
Which email I should use?
Also if I get MR before the new passport number is updated, will that create any issues?

Thanks

Passport number is not at all mentioned on the Medical Request.. You just need to have valid passport.

Congrats to all NDVO mate who got MR.

Dear members,
Please blast the news of Medical Request ! !. Eagerly waiting to blast news from my side. :D

Guys my consultant just called up. She told many people who applied in August have got their MR's so we can say that the MR rain has indeed started. She didnt give much info as to which all NOC codes have got but she said many 2174's have got MR and other NOC's as well have got MR. So other than this forum too there are so many people who are getting MR's. :)

Are you sure she said " People who applied in August", or is it People who got PER in August, coz still June, July applicants have not reported any MR.

Oh really,that's good news..
Can you please tell us other forum link..

Please check the below link
portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp

the last step in both the case is to visit the PSK in which the appointment is booked.

I applied 2 weeks back online only and i had read some on the site that is now mandatory to have appointment for PCC.

I think no harm in visiting and giving a try if the appointment you are getting is 2 week for the day of booking.

It first allows you to confirm the appointment . but question is do we want to go to passport office and give a try ?

In any confusion i would suggest , please call at 1800-258-1800 (Toll Free) to Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (National Call Centre/IVRS) they should be able to guide

Hi Sinestra,

For some of the PSKs in India ... You dont need to book an appointment IF you are going for just PCC requests.

Just fill in online form... Pay the fee online and take that print with you. Reach PSK between 9:30 -11:30. You dont need to book an appointment for PCC requests. That is required for passport renewal or new passport requests.
FYI: i have done same at Gurgaon PSK. You might need to check passportindia.gov.in website for other PSK info.

*********NCR applicants... GURGAON PSK will be a good option for you guys. ***********

FYI: if the current address filled in the form and the address on your passport is same....YOU will get PCC the same day.
If the current address and the parmanent address is different then you need to visit PSK two times. One day for request... Then a wait of about 10 days... Then u have police verification inspector visiting your home. Then message on your mobile to collect pcc from same PSK.

Hope That Helps

don't think too much about what consultants have to say...one of my friends consultant said people who have received aor in aug are getting mr now.....however its very confusing at the moment......to me it looks like NDVO is just flooding MR's irrespective of month of AOR....so just be ready to get washed away in the MR flood anytime:P :P :P :P :P :P

Example of another ignorant..stupid...consultant. On one hand she says many people who applied in Aug have got MR and on the other hand she says that many of them have the NOC 2174. When it is abundantly clear that any one who applied under 2174 NoC in august would never get an MR because the CAP was reached on 30th May.

The people who applied in May started getting PERs in August.I think that is what she meant, the so called immigration experts.

But good, that we have started getting MR.

Congrats Mr Patel !
